Anyways, why would you wanna cry? You have FoW, and all those other high end items. a req10 Brute Sword is nothing for you.

Nice to see people razzing you about not customizing the weapon too. *rolls eyes* Not everyone customizes their weapons ppl. Can't sell a custom weapon to another player. Can only merch it, meaning you lose money should u decide to sell and get a new weapon.

I'm not saying s/he would have. I'm simply saying that it's personal preference whether or not someone customizes a weapon. My example was that sometimes people don't do it because there always is that chance that they will sell that weapon and get a better one. The is also the chance that you will delete a character and remake the same one for whatever reason. If an item is customized then you can't use that item on the new character. It becomes merch food.

Perfect example of this: My fiance is working towards survivor on his ele. His goal is obviously lvl 3. On his 2nd attempt he died just after hitting lvl 2, he took his weapons of his char and put them in storage. Deleted and started over, come to find the kick ass wand he had had been customized. It's now trash because it can't be used by any other character. Time to go find a new one....ie have me go buy him a new one. If he did this EVERY time, it would get rather expensive for me since u can't UNcustomize a weapon.

Also, some people switch weapons between characters until they can afford to buy the 2nd character similar, if not the same, weapons or until they decide whether or not they want that weapon for a specific char. We're not all made out of gold. I switch weapons between my monks and a couple other characters because I don't have enough gold to go out and simply buy everything I want for all my chars. Takes time.

So, my response to the person that said people that play with uncustomized are noobs....GFY. Quit labeling people, its RUDE!

I basically said the same in my post, but it got edited for some unknown reason when he did exactly the same (if not worse),

but yeh it is not always a good idea to customise as it can be a waste of a decent weapon and decent money.. as ebony correctly said, For example i customised a green wand for my monk which was worth quite alot at the time.. almost instantly i found a different wand with what was a much cooler skin with exactly the same stats... So i used the gold wand and the green was completely wasted when i could have got 20k for it. So in conclusion although customising is useful for the +20 damage... your not a "noob" if you dont customize

Sadly this is one of the reasons threads like this often get closed, people can't avoid arguing or flaming, just the way it is.
