Alt. Black dye
Gray+Purple+Gray+Gray
Not 100% sure this is full black, but I think its a bit lighter.
I have put it on my armor and it looks almost exactly as black on 15k luxon for ritualist, but when I showed someone with 15k luxon for a ranger, he's armor came out a dark gray color, if anyone wants to try it, please post a picture of your armor so I can specify.

Nice find, I just used it on this 1.5k Ascalon shirt.
It's a decent alternative for black.

I had a friend test this out, and it works for Ranger FoW, and not the other sets of ranger armor. Kinda odd.

Does it matter if it is "new" or "old" purple dye?

Don't think it matters if it's new or not

Hey I got any idea, instead of using purple replace it with brown. It might work better. Grey+Brown+Grey+Grey
I would try it myself, however sadly i do not have the funds to do this experiment.

Note that the new black color is really, eh... black. A lot darker than the pre-update black. So the difference between dark gray and black is more obvious than before.
From left to right: purple + 3x gray, pre-update black, post-update black, two black dyes (results dark purple, but all dyes can't be the same color).

On my male necro Purple+Green is virtually black, at least when mixed with another color. I don't have screenies, but i had black+blue before, now i have purple + green + blue, and as far as i can tell, they look identical.
