bwahaha ... a gladius is nicer than that ... a gladius is the one and only proper sword in the game along with SOME others , i would prefer those perfect above one like that perfect
Gladius ftw Long Sword ftw Tribal blade ftw , ....
same goes for the axe
YUK !
i'd prefer a Tanzit's Cleaver above that , cause it actually looks like an axe and not an action man figure thingy u would get by buying one of those dolls

In my opinion an item that costs such immense amounts of platinum should at least have and advantage over other items and benefit its carrier because its absurd that they perform as well as collector items which cost nothing to obtain. Same goes for FoW armour.
At least the skins stand out though and do show that their user is an experienced and skilled player, after all both FoW armour and these Tormented weps are status symbols.

I sympathise those who spent lots of resources to obtain those tormented items. It is so damn ridiculous looking. Perhaps it is Anet's own way of saying "Pwnzorz" at their faces?

Does it show the skill of the player?

Or does it show a player who has no life that he can acctually afford 3MIL????
Or does it show a noob who uses ebay?

These weapons are extremely expensive. I mean at least with the FoW armor you could have all the money needed for it on one account, but the tormented items cost 3mil!!!!! You need like 3 accounts just to hold that amount of money(unless you have stacks of ecto or something).

The only way id get one of these is by farming a lot of the gemstones and then buying the rest.

Do the people selling ambraces have like 5 accounts or something???

Not really- I like weapons too(especially shield), but 3 mil????
There are people currently bidding on it right now over 3 mill!!!
And im sorry to say but there are only 2 ways to afford that:
Ebay
Or A person who has no life that they play guildwars hours and hours and hours everyday, and have multiple accounts and no friends, and no active- ah well you get my point.

Sorry if it sounds harsh but its the truth. Life>Guildwars or Guildwars=life?

I like the sword, but it just doesn't look like a sword. A sword is supposed to have sharp edges, right? this is just like a brick. it hurts too, but isnt anything like a sword.

I see clear sharp edges...

Anyway, not all swords have sharp edges, only ones meant for slashing.

I wouldn't use that sword if I was paid the 3 million. Salvage the 15^50, and never speak of it again.

Lol, Well said.

I really hope the scythe looks better.

PS: How much do 15^50 inscriptions for Axes go for?
