^ He didn't seem to have ele resistance on when he got hit by Deep Freeze. And using epidemic on Concusion Shot sounds weird since you'd have to hit several foes at the same time to interrupt them all, which isn't possible without barrage (or WD actually but skellies have Wild Blow)... Still I see room for Concussion in this bar

I must say I'm impressed by the fact he can survive the warriors there. They hit really hard ,and skeletal berserkers have Wild Blow, so don't count on a stance to stay alive. Hmm maybe Veil of Thorns + Armor of Sanctity? Or even some kind of crippling trap dropped before he pulls them so he can stay at a safe distance for a while?

I'm not sure I understand you.. All he needs to do is interrupt a guy casting a spell with Concussion shot, then use epidemic to spread the daze.

Yes, but once the daze is spread, he has to hit multiple foes to interrupt multiple foes. It's no good spreading it if you're just going to keep interrupting the same foe, since without Barrage, he can only hit one at a time.

Dazed also slows down spell casters as well, which effectively reduces the damage you're taking from those casters by half.

True, was just pointing out why the other guy'd think he was using barrage.

Also, I suppose if you were skilled enough at tabbing through targets, you could manage to interrupt quite a lot that way after dazing them as well.

25/01/07 Update: Pff..cleared the entire beach, it was fun killing those scales

I've also cleared a big part of the shadow army. It's hard to kill those groups with monks.

so what we know so far...
he isnt using ele resistance,(from the dmg of deep freeze) therefore probably not r/me
hes not using a zealous/vamp bow from the pics
he can kill casters, warriors, disable monks.
he does use conditions in some way.
no enchantments in his pics.

im guessing something like melandrus resistance...?

I'm on the edge of my seat. This might be the thing that gives me the dedication to make and stick with a ranger character...

Its probable not very hard to do that. Ignite Arrows and they run away. 2 interupts with you from annowing things like SS (Spitefule not sandstorm lol)

Maybe power shot since he has no elite xD (just joking)
Some Defensive Stances and you can do any thing. (did it a long time with the sanddrakes and even the Bulls in UW)
The skales will attempt to Grenths him like you see in a picture but for the rest, with a decent interupt bow (the recurver, seen in the picture) you can get any spell.

Nice farming btw ^^

Nice update Witte Was.

Really hope you post the build soon. Look forward to seeing this in action. But may I ask what "tweaking" it is your doing?

You never go into detail about how you make your solo builds. Least you could do is give us an insight into this "tweaking".

Hm..I use the word tweaking when I'm going to change the build as much as possible for the best results. (maybe this is the wrong translation because my English isn't so goodxD)
This means trying things over and over again until you reach you complete your final goal. In this case, my goal is to solo as much as possible in the Fissure of Woe with 1 build

Nope, spot on.

What I think (Not quite a mind reader ) he was trying to ask was moreso the process by which you tweak your builds.

I can't imagine the amount of money you're shoveling forth to this and your other solo tours, but it's quite admirable to be honest. However, what I think is most admirable is the idea that you're not doing solo tours entirely for profit, but the satisfaction of knowing you've done it. That's something you can't say about many people.

Yes Dzus has the right idea about what I was asking All us Rangers will be thankful when you post the completed build

Actually if you check again the pics you will see Witte has blacked out the upper left corner on some of them so there are some kind of prep / chant / shout / stance (unlikely, because of Wild Blow).

Melandru's Resilience may help against some foes there indeed, but apparently the build has no elite
