I'm got 21,000 ping once, but not 400,000!

I agree, it seems the ping number is going up lately.

PS Anet, great job on these FPS and ping monitors.

Damn, I only got up to 105,000 ping on Broken Tower... still won though!

Those numbers... that's not lag anymore, it's just disconnection =/

400k millisecond ping... that's gotta be some sort of record I had some pretty horrendous lag during the weekend as well, they usually cap out at around 50k.

It means the delay between you and the server, 1 ping is 1 millisecond of delay.

So 4000 ping, you shoot, the bullet hit 4 seconds later.

Above 5k it doesn't even matter anymore, you can't do jack anymore anyways.

Btw, Guild Wars has the most annoying lag EVER!
You can see everyone move, using skills, chat etc etc. BUT YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING!!! WHY?????????????

It's so frustrating

Something i've observed thanks to the little Pingtool there... GuildWars starts to stutter (FPS wise) as soon as Lag occurs. Once the Ping goes over 500, my FPS drop into the bottom, really annoying.
Normally a ping of 60 is normal for me during the week and during the weekend it will reach up to 300. I also had those large numbers but mostly in Areas that loaded lots of things at the same time (Urgoz Warren for example).
