Default All-Mesmer Gate of Madness&Abaddon's Gate: In Your Inspiration, Lyssa is There

Hello, fellow Mesmers!

the same topic on GWO
We've been getting a lot of crap falling out of the sky directly on our perfectly styled hairdos recently, and a lot of you doomsayers have said that the Mesmer class is dead and useless in PvE. Well, I'm here to tell you all that this is most certainly not the case, and we proved it today in an event that deserves it's own thread, apart from the accomplishment thread.

Nightfall Spoilers Below.

A team of 8 mesmers entered the Gate of Madness, often considered the hardest mission in Elona, a mission that stops many PuGs in their tracks. We received the masters award in the Gates of Madness, later proceeding to obliterate Abaddon himself in less than 8 minutes.

The Team:
Lethor Shkiell
Little Hex
Rianna Heartbane
Anya Wynter
Quick Rinoa
Betty the Majestic
Laurana Zail
Indigo Montari

The Event:
After meeting in Deldrimor Warcamp for the weekly meeting, which was kinda sparse, a few people did the Ruins of Morah while the rest of us waited in Honur Hill. The remains of both parties merged for these two missions.

The Missions:
We did Gate of Madness flawlessly up until Shiro, but even then you could count the deaths on one hand. We proceeded to capture each shrine, starting with Lyssa.

The Proof:
ArenaNet may have weakened us this weekend, but they didn't stop us from doing this, and no amount of nerfing or whining can take this away from us.

After spending eons in that empty room, Abaddon sudenly got attacked by a bunch of spoiled girls and boys. I would crumble under the strain of all that vanity too.

good job but as far as I can see from your build you did as a MO/ME without monk runes. Anyway master at gate of maddnes is still very good.

It's probably harder to finish Gate of Madness without masters...

The time you beat Abaddon in is amazing!

Ohh that totally rocks!

I'd come to the Mesmer meetings, but Oseldine is Canthan and not to Warcamp (and I fear getting her there from LA, bah). If you ever need another Mes for something though give me a shout!
