Did anyone try PM'ing Gaile about it? That might get us more answers then yelling at each other saying if the screens are fake or not! Still GG Gaile!

It is possible that Gaile was bored one day and put it up as a joke. ANet is allowed to have fun, too

Faked or not is kinda beside the point, it made people laugh didnt it? But, for arguments sake why couldnt ANet have done that? Theyve shown that they have a good sense of humor with this game, and as Mango said Gaile could have been bored, or actualy won. The flip side is, thats an easy Photoshop. Remove the background from one screen shot, copy and paste the chat box onto another screen shot. Would take less than 5 minutes for anyone halfway familiar with PS. Only ANet and the OP know for sure, and neither is talking.

QFT. Who cares whether or not it's real, it was hilarious either way.

And I'd have to agree...Guild Announcement most likely. Clever use of spaces could make that possible ^^

About 5 months ago, I met a male warrior in RA. When I asked him about it, he said the character had been around since release. His name was Gaile Gray.....im almost certain its the same person.

No..he said he just took the name as a joke before Gaile had even done any of her visits

Hmmm...just actually read the final part of the screenshot. the part about the office.
I really did meet a warrior named Gaile Gray once, but i doubt he won favor for anyone special.

just so u guys know, gaile gray's character gaile gray has been around since beta. correct me if im wrong but isnt it impossible to create a character with the same exact name twice? ^_~
