I wouldn't bet on me atm, I think I may have cut my own head off in the interview by what LadyNilene just posted. I think I was a bit to brutaly honest with some of my answers, should have sugar coted them a bit more.

I'm interested to see what these traps were and how things should have been answered, maybe I did well. I hope it's all explained in the end.

To be honest, I'm cheering for you (have been, as you know, lol), and really I'm excited to see your honest answers. Might not help you win this competition, but its your views, and suger coating them would just make all the answers generic.

Besides, we all secretly know the winner of this competition. Its a no brainer really.

Did you by chance get influenced by my last mag cover for the background scenery of your shots?

For the interview I had pretty honest and straightforward answers too. Grah, I hate trick questions.... they always make me feel trapped. And it was hard answering the questions in chat anyway, since I like writing a lot of text and it would always cut off after just a couple of words.

Jaden, wow, nice pictures. I like the Titanic feel of the first one, it has lots of energy in it. Too bad pictures with the face tilted up or sideways don't seem to fare too well in the competition... I think sometimes having only part of the face showing looks really good too. I had tons of shots like that too, but scrapped them since they would just not work here.

Exclamation Week 10 - The Finale - Evaluations

Here is the awaited evaluations for our final week of competition. The other judges have already seen everyone's work and submitted to me their score. As being the judge that conducted and administered the interview, you will only see my comments. So let's get started...in alphabetical order...

Burnout Chic

Interview

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...rincess/B2.jpg

Comments: I thought you were such a bore to talk to, I couldn't get anything out of you, I couldn't get any personality to show at all. It was really dreadful. I'm not sure if you were just shy of my presence or what, but there was nothing there. I know that you've stressed to me that english isn't your first language, so that could've been the issue, but all in all, personality-wise, I just didn't get a read on anything. Your responses to my questions we're pretty well grounded. But you really need to work on putting yourself out there and showing more personality.

here is the best picture I took:

Comments: I was surprised, in a good way. I was looking through the screens I was taking with you, and I was not impressed at all. I was really worried that you dropped the ball on this assignment, but when you sent in your submissions, all that worrying completely subsided. I was really impressed with the pictures you sent in. All of them had some "attitude", which you claim is your trademark. I totally get Ice Princess from that shot, unfortunately, I also get Ice Princess from your interview. You're not a warm person to talk too.

Jaden Stone

Interview

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...rincess/J2.jpg

Comments: You had me, you we're doing such an excellent job! You we're spitting out excellent answers faster than I could give you questions. Unfortunately, you completely dropped the ball at the end when I asked you to comment on your competitors. Rule 1: Never single anyone out in that manner. If you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all. While I can respect your opinion, you're putting yourself in a bad light when you do that, its a situation that you put yourself in that you just don't need nor want to be in.

And let me go on the record and say, all three of you guys, are 100% deserving of being in this top three, all three of you we're chosen for different reasons, but you all deserve to be in the top three. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise, people can have their opinions, but you wouldn't be in this spot if you didn't deserve it.

Picture

Comments: I'm sure you know exactly what I'm going to say after seeing those pictures. I knew it was going to a problem when you took me to all these exotic locations. You completely lost yourself with the scenery. If you really wanted to have that scene within your picture, I would suggest you had us move forward which shrinks your background, and you could've easily got all the waterfall in and still have presence in your picture. All in all, I thought you had the best film within the final three.

Perynne Walker

Interview

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...rincess/P2.jpg

Comments: You had the most personality in the interview, you we're extremely energetic and really fun to interview. I died laughing at the end when you went on your thank you's rant. You we're also the only one who really showed a more personal side to yourself. Your interview went extremely well.

Picture

here is the judges top pick in your submission:

here is the best picture I took:

Comments: Overall, I would have to say you had the worst film among the final three. There were problems in every background you selected, among npcs/random afk people to the zone portals. I was actually surprised that at this point of the competition, there would still be those minor mistakes. Although I think that you tried the hardest, and scheduled the most meetings, I thought it was all in vain when I saw the pictures you selected.

Alright guys, we are one step closer to getting down to finding our winner. We will announce or last official elimination for Cycle 1 tomorrow, and the voting will begin for the final two. Good luck to everyone!

Photobucket ftl! They reduced the size of your interview pictures and they really hard to read because of it.

Imageshack wont reduce the pictures when you upload them.

Agh... well, yeah, I wasn't too happy with my images either. I think I ended up trying too hard to find a good place and good poses, and just spoiled it all by stressing about it too much. It was surprisingly hard to find a location that had good lighting that didn't spoil one of us... my dark skin looked really bad in most locations and was overshadowed by Nilene's light one (I tried finding places with my sister, who has a character with about the same skin tone as Nilene). In addition, I REALLY should have ditched the canthan armor, it spoiled a lot of the images with that nasty leather strap getting stretched.

Looking forward to seeing the results, and good luck to the other two models! I have a feeling you'll be selected to continue.

If you are using IE, there should be a box in the bottom right hand corner of the image when you scroll over it to return it to its original size.

As for the pictures...Great job all! They all look so beautiful.
I like the luxon/kurz contrasting eles in Maria's shots...Jaden and Nilene look great together in those shots (and Jaden, I agree with you that your assassin is pretty )...and the piggyback ride is sooo cute, Perynne!

Oh, and I like the newspaper layout, Nilene

You know, I could have you banned for saying something like that. =P

IE is epic fail. Photobucket will rezsize them down and wont allow them to be expanded usually. Thats why I tend to use Imageshack over anything.

But yeah Times New Roman isnt a very sight friendly font either.

I really liked this one I submitted, but understand why it couldnt be judged on.

I knew I was doing very well in the interview and like you said at that point I did drop the ball. After I said that I thought to myself that comment will either make or break this interview and the regret kicked in. I really didn't want to give a generic answer for that catagory, but I absolutly understand that in a professional interview you can't always be brutaly honest. I'm still happy with the overall interview and that I got a chance to be known, even if I don't make final 2.

BTW I like your shot burnout, It just shouts "confidence" to me. Very nice.

heres a trick to read text more easily, save the picture on your computer, and when u open it FROM YOUR PC on the Windows Image preview, just hit magnifying glass once (if u do more it becomes way too blurry), which will zoom in abit in the picture.

and about my interview, i didnt mean to give you the feeling im an "ice princess", i was pretty stressed about it, and i was worried that i will mess it up somehow mainly cuz of my english (so many times i said things that really mean something diffrent and people are like "huh? wtf"), so i was chosing my answers very carefully. maby its also my vocabulary which wa sweak, but overall i was pretty stressed about it, not shy tho. i gave the answersr as honet as i could, yet i was worried that i will mess it up

Edit: you posted faster then me jadem thx for the comment, and thx Jaden and Perryne for good comments about me in general

I really like Jadens first shot and the scenery you picked with it looks amazing. Perynne you shoulda used different armor for you arms because i really liked your pic when you did the dance emote and Nilene was right next to you.

Good luck to all 3 of you. This is intense!!!!!

Just to bring in more drama, figured I'd post my answer to your comments.
I don't mind what you wrote about me, I didn't think it was brutal at all. Just honest. Of course I'm hurt that it seems that you are more stuck in your conception of me, rather than actually looking at the shots I've done, but everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Just to make you feel better I don't like you that much either. Some of your posts in the forum and shots have not been to my taste at all. But that is just my opinion, and who knows, if I ever met you ingame and actually talked to you my opinion might change.
I for one am glad that you're absolutely honest with your answers, and I agree that Mortissia would have deserved to be in top three (although I think I deserve it too, and that's the problem about threes.... can't have four people there, no matter how awesome they are, and it will always be tough to decide who will stay and who will go).

I totally don't get "Ice Princess" from Burnout's interview. I get ESL from her interview. (That's English as a Second Language, for those who aren't aware.) I can hear an accented voice in my head when I read her comments and there's personality there. You're just focusing instead on her lack of fluency in English, rather than her. English is a very difficult language to learn later in life. For every "rule" we have 10 exceptions. Cheer up, Burnout! They were great shots.
