It might be a good idea to have one thread for official announcements/results and another for the chatter and random spamming of other pictures and such. This thread has gotten pretty cluttered with lots of comments, and perhaps putting all the results in one thread would allow people to catch up on the contest without wading through too much stuff.

Alternately, you could do a new thread for each assignment so the assignment is right there on the 1st page.

Just some thoughts, obviously take or leave, I just know that this thread is huge and a little daunting and it's hard to go back and refer to things.

maybe in the next cycle you should have the option of having the headgear on or off. i just think the headgears can add to the stuff, like the rits and sins.

and i ahve some interesting ideas for "poses" if i ever entered...

March 1-April 15 for applications, eh? I'm going to start taking screenshots and deciding a character right now! I wanted to enter last time, but I would have immediately been eliminated due to being grounded for the week of the first assignment. Hopefully I can get my application in and make the cut this time! ^^;

I'm gonna take a couple shots too. I based my lasy appliacation around somewhat of a story. Wondering if I should do the same this time.

Application for Cycle 2 is different than Cycle 1's application. More questions, I think it's 20-25, they're just general questions, very basic just to guage personality if you will. We also will require three specific pictures to be done. After we sort through the ones we are interested in, we're going to set up a mini interview with those people and then whatever happens, happens.

is it necessary for people to have multiple armors? o.O or is it like just a plus?

You should give like breif questions aout personality and why you picked them. Why you think they have a unique personality and fashion. What there background is.

Then send in a couple pics with requirements. (just dont do a certain place)

Then you should like pick 20 out of X. Then interview and narrow it down to 12-13.

Headgear is not something I don't think will work. I'm sure somewhere down the line, there will be an assignment which will be ok for headgear use, but for the most part, no head gear is the accepted norm.

Multiple armor is...definitely necessary to a certain extent, I won't expect you to own every set of armor and use different armor in every single screenshot. But it is necessary to show us new things every so often.

Oh man I so want to enter, but my ranger hasn't been on elona yet and is hardly in tyria. PLUS, theres one piece of 15k frostbound i still dont have. NEED TO GET IT!! Then she'd have 2 armor sets, a good starting foundation. I might take a few screenshots just to show off a bit like I did earlier on the thread pages.

ALSO: I don't know if I should enter, I mean after march 10, I'm ok but it may be hard for me to keep up with the competition and I wouldnt know what goes on. On the other hand I really liked cycle 1 and followed it the whole way. Hmmmmm

Anyone think a ranger who hasnt explored much of tyria and none of elona, and doesnt have factions, can stand a chance?

i shouldve entered the contest. i thought there will be girly things to do such as personal interview and character ramp modeling somewhere in game so i backed out.i shouldve read the mechanics thoroughly. but anyway, ill get my ranger for cycle 2.
