Nah I think the Kurzick armor in 1.5k is rather sexy as well. Fishnet stockings ftw and lets not forget about the metal thong lol. I believe's warriors can bring it home.

Warriors have nice armor too. You just have to be careful about which ones to pick.
I don't think I'll be able to participate in the 2nd cycle. :/ My other main characters, ritualist and assassin, are both rather camera shy and not really model material (they never take off their head pieces to show their faces, it would destroy their characters to do so). They also have about two different armor sets on them, so can't really impress anyone with what they're wearing. Ah well, I'll still be here and cheering for the new contestants!

My warrior has 15k kurzick too, and i love love love it I also really really like vabbian.
I think that next time it would be interesting if there was only one of each type, instead of two assassin's, and two ritualists, and two rangers, and two ele's and such, Maybe its just me though.

*waves* I've been watching this thread with interest for some time. I would never enter; my chars have one suit of 1.5k armor each, and tend to look rather fierce and military. But it's inspired me to experiment a little more with screenshots.
I'm also getting excited for the next cycle. I hope we see some dervishes; they are far and away the prettiest female characters yet.

i kinda regret not entering my ranger for cycle 1, mainly cuz she is my main chracter. my ele is my 2nd main tho, so she deserves it as well

Ideally, it would be best to have every profession, but profession isn't something we look for. We look for an eye catching application. We won't pick up a certain profession just because we don't already have one in the contest, its either we think you got a good application and are committed enough to stay with the competition, or not. Profession/Character has nothing to do with it. We even let you guys choose between the ones you want to use between the two entries you send.
I know alot of Cycle 1 contestant want to go for Cycle 2, but I really need to stress that we are particularly looking for newer people(to give everyone a chance to participate), so you guys are going to be last choice and even then, you guys better have an excellent application to even be considered. It's not that we hate you guys, its just that we really want everyone that is interested to have a shot at it.

Hell we dont even know when ch4 is going to be released... As its lookin we prolly wont see it til August/September.
You may want to start cycle 2 sometime soon if thats the case so you keep interest.

Not only that, but we would need time to explore and make chars for Chap 4, so it would be longer...
So, I agree...the sooner the better

well, Cycle 1 came out after the release of NF, yet the Go see challenge and what followed was in Factions, on Luxon side. Before Ch 4 comes out you still have NF that wasnt really touched by the Cycle 1, since the whole last half of the assigment was done in the Jade sea.
it would make sence if Cycle 2 would be somewhere in NF... i guess.... just an idea

Well, we have a confirmed date for Cycle 2 which are:
March 1 - Applications Open
April 15 - Applications deadlines
April 21 - Chosen contestants announced (hopefully)
April 22 - First Assignment for cycle 2!
and so fourth. It'll probably last three months as well, and we are looking at 12 or 13 contestants, probably 13 if we take on one of our veteran contestants. Hopefully it will kill time for the wait for campaign 4!
now its a matter of getting the contestants confirmed so we can officially map out where and what we're doing, getting progress on campaigns they own and so fourth.

Sounds like a good plan. I would also suggest starting a new thread when Apps. open and when the contest starts I may make another new one to keep it contained a bit. But I wont bore you with the forum formalities.
And as always, let me or any of the screenshot mods know if anything else needs done.
(May even get a sticky if it works out right.)

*wonders if she should try* o.o
i'd want to enter my sin though, but there's NO way i'd want to remove the mask..T_T;;; uuugh I guess I'd have to, but it like totally takes away her coolness. Too bad we can't see some sort of animation of them taking off their head gear (just the simple raising hand, mask/headgear popping off and poofing). That would be awesome >_>
plus i don't want any other sin armor than the one i have, which is the 15k luxon dyed straight black (after using the new grey dye to get the full "undyed" base rather than the original blue =-=; ) and iunno if that would make me through >.>
canthan is nice though...
rah. *sticks to magazine making.*
Edit:
I wouldn't be surprised at the explosion of female paragon applicants though for the next cycle o.o

Totally agree with you, animations would be so cool. I also have the same problem with my sin, I don't want to remove her mask because it totally changes who she is. Otherwise she would have been my candidate for cycle 2, but as it is... .__.
It's a good idea to have mostly new people for the next cycle. That's why it doesn't seem too bad for me not to enter - it'll be one less application for the judges to go through and will give a better chance for others to enter.
