As you know from all my other magazine covers, I have normally always had a negative headline on it about one of the contestants, thats what Paperazi's do.
They try to dig up dirt, even if it is very minimal, and then turn it into a big deal.
I had no intention of doing that to make you sad and angry. It was just simple paperazi work, thats how things go in a celebrities life. =/

Thank you Katina and Storm *hugs*
I really did have an absolutely amazing time in this competition. I would love to have stayed longer, I hope that if there is a cycle two I will get another chance, I will probley choose whichever character has the biggest armor collection though Considering I brought my sin into this with ONE set. Bad idea.
Staker, I know what Paparazzi does, I wouldn't have been upset about it if I wouldn't have been eliminated this week. You have to understand How I feel after reading the critiques from the other contests, being eliminated AND seeing that on the cover. It makes me feel like I should have gotten online the minute I saw the assignment and took no breaks, just took screenie after screenie. It also in combination with everything else makes me feel like I suck. and that is a bad feeling. I cried after I saw everything, and thought about it. I already am lost at how i started to go downhill, I personally like some of the shots that the judges disliked, and I didn't know how or why I had such different veiws.
And on top of it all i have a really bad cold, or sinus infection or something. and I feel terrible.

I understand. Thank you, personally, for you out of all judges did actually personally talk to me. And posed with us too. My greatest respect is for you, thanks for making this so FUN! However, I must agree with Malefic, near the end, the editing got to the point where it was more hurtful than constructive critiscim... and I personally turned on my defensive mentality.

LETS GO PARTY!!!! WOOOOOT. oh noes, but I used all my spiked eggnog with Raselle when we partied, AHHHHHH.
You are a very great person, and your empathy for other people was staggering. Your bond with Katina was great, and personally, you were the most approachable out of the lost. THANK YOU. And, yeah, lets parttyy ^.^

Going back to the defensive. No, its not too bad I feel this way... I have no need to justify my actions, at least not to the likes of you.
I LOVE YOU KATINA, MALEFIC!!!! You guys are so awesome, lets party!

Same, I mean like I stated, at first I was learning something, and using what I was learning, and later I just was angry at every single evaluation, which I think is partly to blame for my sudden downhill fall. Without any real knowledge about the past shot, I felt like i was going out to take the next one in the dark, without any thoughts on what to do or what not to do.
So like i said Nilene, I know that you can't post all of the deliberations because they would be to long, and you want to make everything suspensful, but in the contestants best interest, It would help greatly just to point out the great things that they did, and the things they shouldn't have done. Thats what helped me in the beginning.

Thank you And we defiantly should party!!!!! Although my ranger is my drunkard character, Malefic sooooo needs a night out after all of this!!!! I also think Katina should join us! She was so much fun to work with, and I think even though it would have been nice to win this, I came out with some great friends And some knowledge at Guild Wars Modeling

Im online right now, Sill!!!
Woot, woot, yeah, for the final 6 that made it past the halfway mark, I personally think everyone achieved something in their own regards. Their "style" etc. etc. The last evaluation bugged me the most, because they asked what we thought out our signature was... and since it was our models, when they told me I was wrong, and that my signature shot isnt that... I was very hurt.
Its like when your mom tells you to cook whatever you want for dinner, and then yells at you after for saying that it wasnt what she wanted.
I guess Im just dumb ^.^

i have been watching this competition since the beginning but this is intense. I liked all 3 of these models since the beginning but I don't know who I want to win. Good luck final 3!
Also, just wondering, can Cycle 1 contestants participate in Cycle 2.

Well, this last challenge sounds perticularly hard. I'm very much looking forward to the interview portion though.
As for the judges comments, I liked them from the drama aspect, but it was very hard to get good honost feedback for improvments. I felt a lot of the time I was getting contradictory statements from different judges or from challenge to challenge. All in All I've gotten a lot of useful feedback though, although I know for others, they didn't get nearly as much constructive feedback as I did. I was lucky.
For hurt feelings, all I can say is brush it off. This is a competition and there was bound to be hurt feelings, especialy in the "rate others photos" portion. I had prepared a graceful loser post for myself the other night because I was so sure I was gone. Can't take these things personaly even though I know we all put a lot of emotional effort into this.
This will be my last post as I no longer have access to a computer until my parts come in. I'll schedule a time as soon as I can.

Trust me when I say, none of us on panel would ever want to hurt you guys! You guys are essentially what makes this thread so great! Without our contestants, we have no thread! I admit, some of the editing was a bit much, but i guess we just all got into the hype once we realize the suspense/drama in the editing was making the thread so interesting to view! You guys don't see alot of the comments/feedback I get from the readers, and I guess we just really wanted to create something more exciting for the fans to experience!
This is our "pilot" cycle, so we are picking up new things all the time, and we will definitely work them in our new cycles! Which we decided will be after the release of the fourth campaign, probably a month in like we did for this cycle. Hopefully, it will be announced soon! I'm guessing it will be in April? We'll see...
Yes, cycle 1 contestants are allowed to enter new cycles, but characters that were used already are officially retired from TNTM (unless we do a TNTM all-stars...of course its too early to do an all stars cycle, so don't expect one any time soon). And for the record, we will be more leniant towards newer applicants, cause we really want everyone to have a chance to participate!
I really, really, REALLY, want to start a TNTM Year book!!! But of course, it's been less than easy to get in touch with any of our past contestants. Depending on my efforts, we'll see how this project will work out!

Wow! I am surprised to see some of the emotions expressed by some contestants. I know I joke about "playing Barbie" with my Guild Wars toons (to the point that it takes me 15 minutes to pick hair for a PvP toon, tell that to 7 waiting Moa Birds' guildies who wanna GvG and are waiting on the resident carebear), but I don't think I've been as serious or emotionally intertwined as some of TNTM have expressed.

Well its just, kinda one of those things - I had gotten sooo used to doing this every week, and now its just gone. But, I am proud that I made it as far as I did, that shows me I can do something.
At any rate. I have another suggestion Nilene, Maybe since the fans enjoy the suspense aspect, you could continue to post evaluations as you do, but you could e-mail or PM longer more in depth evaluations to each contestant. I understand that suspense is needed, but that way the contestants could get better insight that way. And trust me, the better the insight the better you can do. A lot of times I was going out to do a shot and I had no idea what I had did wrong/right the week before. So I didn't know what i should aim for.
Anyways, I love the yearbook idea

Yeah, thinking about it now, its pretty crazy. TNTM was really stressful, specially on saturdays and sundays, GOD!! So yeah, Dansamy, its really one of those things where you have to participate to experience. Its all a game, yes yes, but a competition is still a competition, and being SO far into the game... its sort of become routine.
But really, I must admit, I learnt a lot. Just tonight, just randomly wandered around in Kamadan and took shots of people for fun.. using the random stuff we learnt and practised here... then I looked back at my OLD shots. AND WOW, what a difference. Ill post some later ^.^
So yeah... thanks for the process.
Yearbook >.< Laev better make the cover!

The stress is still on for me for this week. Aaaaaagh! 10 hours time difference! Well... Lady Nilene, any of your 10 am times suit me fine, they'd be a nice 8 pm:ish here. Tuesday maybe, if nobody has picked it yet?
But yeah, I agree about the comments. I think I was lucky to get more in-depth comments from the judges (but I think that was mostly because my shots sucked). As soon as I started getting better, the comments got less helpful. There were times I would have wished for a little more insight, and times when I really didn't know what I could have done better.
Still, I understand that this is the first round, and I'm happy that it's gone this well. This is a big competition and the judges have probably never done something like this before, so it's understandable that the first round will have some problems. Despite all, I have to say this has been a great competition! Very much fun, and has always given me something to look forward to each week!
And Malefic, I'm sorry that you feel you got critiqued too much. I know I was one of those people who said pretty harsh critique... I didn't mean to hurt you, you've had some amazing shots during this competition that I've really admired! And you are such a nice person when I bumped into you earlier. I'm sorry if my comments hurt you so much. *hugs* Pleeeease don't hate me? I'll buy you a drink if we bump into each other again.
I was a bit hurt at some of the comments I got too, but I was kind of expecting it. Still, some models seemed to have the idea that I was up for elimination more than once? Nope, I was up for elimination just once, and after that I've had shots nearly steadily up in the top 3 or 4. Mediocre performance is rarely noticed though, so it kind of hurt me to have some models say that I hadn't improved at all or that I'd always been at the bottom end of the scale. Oh well... this is just a competition. Sometimes it can bring up lots of feelings either negative or positive feelings, but all in all it's still been great fun.

Haha, yeah, to each their own. However, don't listen to our critique... because the people you want to please is the judges, and you did! So keep up the good work, ma'am.

Anyone wanna critique these shots? She was new when I sent my application in but now she has new armor and new builds. These are some of my favorite shots.
I know her face is a little dark, but it looks cooler that way in my opinion.
This pic was when I just made her. I like it.
