*ponders* i agree that this looks unfair and that having a set number of images (most likely the minimum a person could have if they have one campaign..which is prophecies and was what, 2 or 3?) would be best.

as for the difference between common and ascended armor...yeah the more expensive armor will 8/10 look better than the more common ones, BUT i think it should be stressed that this is *modeling* and not fashion. So if you're a good model, i would think that you should try and make even the second rate looking gear stand out in some way. so this would involve where you shoot it and how you pose. the armor is just accenting that. I will admit the more expensive ones *will* look better..but i think we can trust our judges, the same way how some characters have the CE effects or other aura. You just use what you have and use it to your advantage.

Just remember the past assignments and what all they've asked and critiqued on. You could have the greatest armor in the game and somehow make it look dull in your shot.

At this point im going to have to agree with everyone else. Although it is possible for someone with all armor locations not to get all the points they could, it is also possible that they could get all the points. I definatly don't feel like this is 100 percent fair. I havent gotten my assasin all the way to kodash or to bone palace, and even if i did if i personally didn't like the armor i wouldn't want to spend that much gold on it, and even if i did like it - i can't imagine rushing through nightfall like that, expecially since i start classes tommorow.

Hopefullly this will all work out and i can pick up a few more armors sometime today.

Can someone tell me how to upload photos cause I've been practicing shoots for the second cycle, if there is one, but each time I try to upload one, the post doesnt show it. Can someone help me with this?

It's definitely armor, but I can see why you would mistake it for city since it is "Fashion Capital", but it is definitely armor that we are looking for.

As for the Fairness factor:

Take everything with a grain of salt. Is it fair that on the show that there's only one fat girl competing with eleven skinny girls?

I understand, I do, and while I can, and do, sympathize for our under priviledged contestants, all I can say, is take what you have, and run with it. Remember, Quality not Quantity.

^^ you are saying Quality not Quantity, but the contest assigment says the opposite. in a contest everybody has to have the same starting points.

a girl who is fat shouldn't be runing for a model anyways, but aside from that, she is NEVER limited in the quantity of photos she can take (example: the skiny one has 10 to take and her cuz shes fat cant take more then 3 to pick from) and all that matters is her looks and her body, and how she is choosing to show it.

a contestant with more armors has a privilege to send in more pictures, therefor more chances to win and less chances for elimination.

im sorry but this just doesnt make sence for a contest

I'm disgusted that you said that. And yes, they are limited, if you watched the show, you would know they stuck on an ugly orange shirt on a one of the plus size models because they had nothing else for her to wear for her photoshoot.

If you feel this strongly about it, then don't do it. Like I said, do all, do some, or do none. What I do suggest is you really having an outer body experience, and have yourself a huge slice of humble pie.

Alright now, no need for this to get out of hand. As much as I agree with both sides on various aspects of this assignment, I gotta step in with my moderator duties and say that any more arguing should be taken private.

This assignment, while extremely challenging and biased to those with money, should be really interesting thinking of answers for the questions and making good screenshots for those armors you can.

Guess I'll just have to get to work even with my objections to various points of this assignment.

I don't really understand the complaints about this contest. 6 out of the 9 locations have 1.5k armors which are relativly cheap to obtain. Out of the remaining 3 locations one of them is Fissure armor (most of the models don't have this I assume). Another is Vabbi (again I'm sure a lot of the models dont have this) and the last is ancient, the cheapest of all 15k armors.

So In retrospect even if you are somewhat poor, you should be able to make 6/9 shoots. 7/9 if you have 50k for ancient armor, which is pretty cheap comparativly. Now 7/9 or 6/9 may not be as good as 9/9, but you really do have a fighting chance. This assignment was about determination and you may have to work a bit harder, but it sounds like a lot of the other models are in the same situation.

I think this assignment shows how much you care about your model more. I mean just getting to all those cities is challenging. I know that for me and Katina that our models are our #1 pve characters and most time is spent on them. I mean I've spent a great deal of time and effort on my assassin and I'm glad I get a small reward. I thought I'd post my title screen just to show how much I love and enjoy playing my character.

Ok, after a discussion with the judges, we decided to reveal our intent for Week 6's Assignment. I think there has been way too much tension with this assignment, and it's time we tried to let out the true nature of this assignment.

First, let me just start by apologizing for my little outburst, I just felt so furious that someone would say that fat people shouldn't try out for modeling. Of all the cycles of ANTM, no other contestant has been more inspiring to me than Tocarra Jones(who is plus size) from Cycle 3. It was heart breaking to watch her struggle throughout the competition because of her size, but she always managed to pull out her positive attitude on any situation, and she managed to outlast half the competition. So I was extremely upset that a comment was made about plus size models.

Ok, the assignment for this week could've lead up to two possible scenerios...

1. If there was someone who just completely gave up and half assed the whole thing, that person would've been eliminated.

2. If everyone showed that they were passionate enough to go through and TRY and ATTEMPTED to complete the assignment, you would've all passed on to our fashion destination. Which let me add, would've been determined by the results we get on this assignment, remember, I have no idea which campaigns you own, how far your progress is, what kind of armors do you have access too...so the common results we get from everyone, would've been our choice for TNTMCycle 1's fashion destination lol. So this was kinda a fun way of doing it rather than just saying, ok what does everyone have so we pick our Fashion Destination. Of course, this was more troublesome than fun...so hopefully this explanation will clear that up. Basically, we were trying to copy what Cycle 5 of ANTM did before they left to their fashion destination in episode eight.

Now that we've chosen to reveal this, I hope that everyone will still put your hard work into completing this assignment, cause we're still going to use your performance in determining who wins in the end, whomever it will be in the finale.

Also, I am going to schedule 1 on 1 sessions with everyone for at most 10 minutes, where I would like to get to know our contestants on a more personal level. I might set that up sometime this Friday-Sunday, or it might be sometime next week, so be ready for that. Cause everyone has to do it! I don't care if you hate me or shy of me, you're gonna have to suck it up and just deliver.

Alright guys, I don't want anyone to slack off now, so please continue working hard on the task at hand, because I want you guys to have a fun fashion destination, rather than me just saying, ok, everyone has to do their last few photoshoots at Temple Of Balthazar. lol

Well this is a bit dissapointing. I just spent a lot of time, literally since the assignment was posted until now on my photoshoots. I wasted a lot of unique poses which I was hoping to save that can't really be used again. I really wish you hadn't revealed this information so soon, I'm a little disheartend at all the work I've been putting into my shots.

I must say, the fat people not trying to model was an offensive statement...and Toccara did have the best shots and best attitude of ANY model thats been on that show. She was mistreated and definatly should have won. Since the show shes got the most fame from the show, so I guess it all worked out.

I wish we could have done this assignment without all the complaining, I had no problem with it. After all, its all meant for fun, no drama is supposed to be meant! ;/ Thats just my input!

Well No Katina, out of everyone else, you're the only one with FoW, of course you're not complaining. BUTTTT now that we do know the intent of this assignment, that won't pose much of a problem either way.

Drama? drama's all part of the show baby. Even the judges editing is for suspense, well at least thats what I read.

JADEN: Holy Moley, Kind of a big deal indeed!!

The mini interviews sound cool, but this weekend may not be the best timing because of school exams next week (I have one on monday >.<) If its possible may I contact you online earlier, like may be thursday or wednesday to do it?? If not, then I'll try my best to come on the weekends... I just dont know if Ill be at the library studying or... yeah.

I just wanted to pipe in real quick, please - if you're going to discuss "fat models" be a bit more considerate in your language at least. The "fat" models that have been on the show are actually average size women who obviously look larger than they are next to a size 0 or size 1 woman.

It's a bit disheartening to hear people call plus size models "fat" when I am about the same size (and I am in my correct body weight for height).

just so yall know, im not a size 0 model myself, im 5'7 and wiegh 150 lb, and when im talking about plus size woman who go in these competitions, they know right away that they are in disadvantage towards all the size 0 models, so congradz for their self esteem, but they KNOW from start that they are in disadvantage so its fair.

You shouldnt be disappointed at all! Everything you do does continually carry over during our deliberations. Your hard work wont go unnoticed. MOTW is still up for grabs.

Well i did wanted them cropped so I could prepare something, but now that its down the drain...I guess it doesn't matter which you send, but if you already cropped them, then send the cropped.

I'm going to have to agree with Geishe, it does look like he's about to eat you. The bear takes up way too much of your picture, it completely overshadows your character. And then your cape is such a bright color compared the scene, that it pulls more attention away from your character. The pose is safe, but I like the ranger sit pose...its safe, but I like it. I would probably try to capture more of your character than your specimen.

Well mine are sent. Again info I wished I had before doing all the work. Being forced to crop all my picture to the specific Width/Hight was troublesome to say the least. Not only that but im sure I would have used some more rectangle shots instead of being forced into square. I hope you wont hold that against me, or enforce the croped picture rule because you could still make a nice presentation for this week.
