I'm very happy that some people are coming to me to help with prizes and crap, but what I really wanted to get out by saying that was I'm hoping people apply and participate because it's fun and enjoyable and not because of prizes they can win.
Budget isn't extremely bad...but if we contiually do more, in less time, with new campaigns out...things are going to be stretched lol but anyways, thanks everyone for your comments!
As for our set date of Late March...thats actually the *earliest* i can get a contest out. Our winner for Cycle one will most likely be announced by around Valentines week in February. So late February-early March would be the application screening for Cycle two. So it's kinda late...but is really the earliest we can start...I definitely want a longer set date, so our winner can dwell in their accomplishment. So if there were to be any changes, I would definitely push back the date longer than earlier.
Well I think that's it...if there's anything I forget to touch base on, please feel free to get in touch with me!
Thanks!

I don't care when it starts, just as long as it doesn't run into Summer time.

Previously you said you may be looking for another judge for the contest if cycle 2 happens. I think it would be kind of neat if possibly the winner of this cycle would be put in as a judge if they so chose? anyway just a suggestion.

We did consider having our winner join us on panel, but I didn't want to make an obligation out of it. I didn't want it to be, you won, you have to join, you need to help us farm, you need meet with us at panel on so and so, and blah. That's why I wanted to do an open call, plus that way, it gives us a chance to pick someone that we really feel comfortable with who wants to be on panel.
But again, its not even for sure yet! I'm sure it won't even happen, as mentioned, all the judges are are still very active during panel, even our semi absent judge. Anyways, lets not get ahead of ourselves yet, and concentrate on the current cycle at hand!

Well i must agree with those who have said they have had any kind of issues with this assignment Im pretty set on the god i want, but im not so sure on what movement pose i want. Its hard finding a really really great one.
And about cycle 2, I would be very excited to get into it! I personally don't care all that much about the prizes, to me its just really fun!!! And expecially this week - my eyes have been glued to VH1 and this americans next top model marathon!! Its funny beacuse i have been associating people on the show to some of the contestants in tyrias next top model Hehe

LadyNilene, quick question.
As you may know, my character has the Divine aura. Meaning, whenever I use an emote, I'm stuck having to look at a shower of sparkles, which, in my opinion, ruins my picture. Unfortunately, I cannot turn off the Divine Aura, so, I'm stuck with it.
I was wondering, would it be possible that if... Say, I sent in a picture, and said Divine aura was visible, would it be possible to NOT count it against me? There's honestly not much I can do about it.
Thanks.

I probably should've rephrased what I wrote before on one of the judges comments...basically, what I should've said is...you know you have it, you know you can't take it off, you know its going to be there, so instead of thinking of it as a crutch, use it to your benefit. We think there are ways that you can use it to your advantage, or at least try to conceal it, rather than having it stick out like a sore thumb. Of course you will never eliminated for it, but we just feel that there are betters ways than going around it rather than just saying I can't turn it off.
So to answer your question more directly, no, it will not be counted against you.
And also, I'm glad that some of you are watching the Top Model Mega Marathon! All seven of America's Next Top Model shown back to back!!! I hope you guys take note of the "common" pictures/challenges/etc that the girls do, because some stuff you'll see in here are obviously taken from the show itself. So be ready for anything lol

Its funny, beacuse i have missed a lot of the episodes in the past - and now that im watching all of them I'm seeing similarities in some of the assignments. And yesterday someone said something about "Models gone Wild" during a shoot where they were dressing up as animals i do belive, but it reminded me a lot of our second assignment
At any rate, I better get back to taking pics. My issue is I can't find a picture that I really really like. Some of them work just fine, but I know that if i don't really like it all that well, then I doubt the judges will either.

I know that Im just saying that someone said models gone wild during one of those shoots - and it made me think of the title of the second assignment and such.
