There you go! Hope that helps.

nope doesnt help much......reason, "uhm, I dont like <fill in class>", "I didnt feel like reading this entrants ap", "we already HAVE 2 monks!".....nope this doesnt explain why people with higher scores didnt make it (and I am not one of them, mind you).....though again, I dont think we were told that it would be scored as such and that the essays counted towards your app (geez, I wasnt an english major in college!). Some reasons would be nice, not just 'it could have been anything'.........................

I'm sorry that you feel that way, but I've come to realize that I can't please everyone. I'm done dealing with the level of cattiness that is coming from losing applicants. And I certainly did not appreciate your comments... I can honestly say there wasn't any favoring of one profession over the other, and we read every application.

Here are some popular reasons why anyone was passed up...

1. You gave a generic response in your application.
2. You displayed a picture that did not showcase your face. (Why would you send an application with screenshots of your back? "As a model, your face is your canvas" - Jay Manuel.)
3. You made rude/obscene/suggestive comments/screenshots in your applications.
4. You didn't score at least a 15 on your application.

Those were the top four reasons why any one person was eliminated in the preliminaries.

thanks for the response!
that was more of what I was looking for, however, it still doesnt answer how someone with say 20 points didnt get picked while someone with 19 did.......why would they have gotten 20 points if they didnt have a good pic?
The essay does answer part of this, but I wouldnt have scored an applicant with rude messages at all.....to me they just wouldnt/shouldnt be taken as a serious applicant.

and the reason I am trying to get the reasons is NOT because I am upset that my dumb toon didnt make it, its more to find out what the criteria was for who got picked---------------for future reference (like in case you actually do this again, people will know that you should do x, y and z and not a, b or c....ok??????)
sorry that you felt I was being bitchy about this, but I really do want to help people understand why their toon who had say 20 points didnt get picked when they see ones that have lesser points in the finals (maybe you should have also scored the essays?)
peace please

Well, you are upsetting me, not only are you insulting our current contestants, but youre insulting Setsuna's, Gema's, and my judgements.

This is getting ridiculous now, if you did not read all of my other posts on how judging went, then I would suggest you start there before questioning my contest's integrity.

With that said, if you have any other problems, please direct them at me.

watch a beauty pageant (i.e. miss universe) and you'll notice that most of the time the hottest contestants don't get into the top 10.

Alright alright enough... No more pointless yelling at each other in this thread... This is the last time RTS and I will be warning in here.

If you really want someone to yell at direct it at my PM box. Or just someone not in this thread.

I dont want to have to lock it down, but you're starting to leave us no choice. I would rather not have to lock it down. (For many reasons, one being that I'm one of the contestants. ~No I didnt make it in because I'm a moderator.~)

Just keep it civil please...

OMG can't believe I never saw this thread...

Some amazing entries - when will the next rounds of screenshots be posted?

And... totally hope for a top male model "show" on here later on.

YES, I finally got my mind onto the picture I sent in. These are the others that I considered:

I like the Canthan look, but there were better shots, I guess.

This one, was the one I fought over with the one I sent in. It took FOREVER to eliminate this shot.

Just some comical relief ^^ It was fun posing with Kuun, shes a great model.

Cant wait to see everyone else's shots ^^

Submitted my picture today... uhhh hope I made the right choice. Guess I'll have to wait 5 more days to see if I'm cut or not. Anyway, since All the other contestants wanted to show off their Cutting room floor pics, here is one of mine that I really wanted to submit and maybe should have.

Also, maybe there should be a rule of contestants not posting pictures, wasn't sure if it was almost like swaying the judges with extra pics. Not sure if this is really an issue.

Thats true. It just reminds me of the real show where everyone gets to watch each others photoshoots, and get inspired by them. However because its impossible for us to do it "live," we can just post our process. But like you said, it might make judges have second opinions >.<

Nice pic, btw.

Well, here's mine. This is one of the rejected shots, even though I really liked the idea. The surroundings were just a tad bit too dark for what I was going for.
