Congratulations for passing the preliminaries, but now, the real competition begins.

The Top Model Franchise has graced the world creating an unbelievable phenomenon! Created by Tyra Banks and originating in the United States of America, Top Model has been an international success being recreated in more than ten other countries (Philippines Next Top Model, Holland's Next Top Model, Australia's Next Top Model, etc etc ). So there is no wonder why it has crossed over into the world of Tyria. The show's mass success does raise the question, where do Top Models truly come from?

For your first photoshoot assignment, you are to answer this question by taking a screen shot that represents your character's place of origin and to promote your campaign. With all the recent hype over the Nightfall campaign, it will be refreshing to connect back to important areas and key events that occurred during your journeys in your character's place of origin.

I realize that many of you will have "Role Play" stories for your character's origin, but for my purposes, please stick to your campaign.

After taking and selecting a screenshot, please send a non-edited full sized original along with a cropped version (however you like) to me with answers to the following questions. (questions will vary from week to week)

1. What campaign is your character from?.

2. Where is your screenshot taken?

3. Explain your screenshot

The deadlines for this screenshot will be on Friday December 15, 2006.

Here's an example of what I expect.

1. My character is from Tyria/Prophecies.
2. I took my screenshot in Old Ascalon.
3. One thing that really came to me in brainstorming over what place was really important and unique for the Prophecies campaign was the Old Ascalon area. I say this, because I think this is where the dynamics of the story really begin, but more importantly, I feel this is where the Character Selection screen came from (the original "camp-site" log in screen). I really wanted to reminisce on that, so I had character posed in a more subtle way to convey the dark/serious tone that was set after the searing. I also chose to wear the original armor, because it is Ascalon armor which also contributes to something that was unique to my campaign, although it has been replicated in other areas, it originated in Prophecies, plus its called Ascalon armor anyways.

Rules:
1. No screenshots within the cutscenes.
2. You may always take screenshots with another individual, but always include their name within your submissions.
3. You may not use Photoshop or any other outside source that may enhance your picture in any way and give you an unfair advantage.
4. You must submit your entry before the deadline.

In breaking of any of the rules, you set yourself at high chances of being eliminated depending on the severity of the rule.

And that's it. I will always show an example of the photoshoot I am giving, just to give you guys some inspiration and to show that what I'm asking isn't impossible. If there is any questions or confusion about the assignment itself, please ask, anything else might not be something I can answer, but do not hesitate to ask anyway.

since FOW and UW are accesible from all 3 campaigns, can we consider those as possible places to take screens?

They had much better shoots than Britain's and Canada's... I mean, Australia IS where Gemma Ward grew up from... there modelling shows can't be THAT bad.

I can't really give an answer to that, but I will say what Marsun said, if I can totally perceive Prophecies in it, than go for it! I know youre one of our most creative contestants, so I'm sure you might have something a little extra, but only time will tell...just use your better judgement!

I can't wait either! lol, And yes, everything will be posted, well, almost everything. The only thing that will be edited is the judges scores/comments which will be all anonymous.

Remember, you have up till December 15, 2006 to get your submissions in! So take your time, but of course you may turn in your submissions at any earlier time if you feel you nailed the shot early and do not need extra time.

Thank you! lol, it was sooo hard to do, trying to replicate everyone's character to match as close as possible, and then get the proportions right...lol but i think it came out nice, so yay! Also, that picture is our official TNTM fade out picture! lol, unfortunately, as eliminations occur, I will fade your character out of the group...until we get our top three! lol

YES! It is! TEAM EUGENA all the way!!! I just hope Melrose doesnt win...she is...too much to say the least. lol Anyways, i'm glad youre a fan of the show! and you recognize the other top model shows, and know about real models, Gemma Ward is amazing, but i dont think anyone will ever top Inez or Daria.
