It's always important to look like a model, no matter what the situation~!
Stig Figger, where did you take that shot, if I may ask?

Perynne is so secure in her femininity that her stunningly beautiful looks passed on to her male counterpart:
(I mean, curls... what the hell? XD )
Lady Nilene's move was brilliant. Like us earlier contestants had to learn the hard way, this competition can get really emotional either for good or for bad. As a model you're expected to keep a smiling, positive face through it all which can get pretty tough when you just feel like breaking down inside, or are seething with nervous energy.
I think every contestant should think about this for a while, and if you think you can't handle the emotional stress then it might be better to re-think your application. Sure, a competition like this is great fun, but it would be sad to see someone totally lose it in the middle... this is meant to be fun after all, not a serious burden or a slap-in-the-face.
I'm glad I got to be part of TNTM, but I can say that it gets pretty intense for the models near the end. So be prepared! Take everything with good cheer and a big spoonful of sugar!

Personally I'm wondering about some of us who are not on for interviews. I don't play GW that much as of now so I'm not on a lot.
So I thought an e-mail saying, "I want to talk to you could you please be on at such-such time during the week so I can get to you?"
Cause I really don't have much to do in GW or I'm at work or I'm playing some other game and possibly missing a chance for an interview when I would like one.
P.S. Mind you I have a lot completed in the game and by no means don't care for GW There just isn't a whole lot to do at the moment and there's other interests. Of course I'm not going to skip out on this event because I do want in and all that fun stuff.

Well, in your application you had to include your prefered method of contact, so I do suppose they'll email you for an appointment...

Well, one of the point of the mini interview is for me to see how easy it is to get in touch with someone in game. But you do raise a good point...
What I am currently doing is going by a list that me and the judges have generated, and just adding five names to my flist (cause I only have free availiable spots lol) at a time, and I try to catch them whenever I see someone on. Once I do, I take them off and add the next name. But I can definitely see how this could be flawed...tell you what, I'm gonna continue with what I am doing, and when I reach the end, any people who I cannot contact, I will specifically arrange for an interview! It's really not that bad...as some of you might've already experienced, it's very brief and short. Just to clarify a few things, point out some things...and so fourth. I will definitely email those who I cannot find within a reasonable time.
Also, special insider news, everyone get your sexaaay male pixels ready, cause I do smell a TNTMM (Tyria's Next Top Male Model) in the works. I won't reveal anything about that yet since it's not my project to tell about, but for those who are interested, just be on the look out for that!

^.^ Yay I'm so excited! Its getting so close.
I can't wait to see who the top 12 are, and see the many different combinations that people made to create their babies. Lokii Dia is my baby and her name will definatly cross over to GW2 for sure.
Also, something about the actual ANTM. They were hold auditions near my town a week back. Since I knew this was going to be a once in a lifetime type of thing. I thought of trying out. I know this makes me come off as a little vain, but what girl isnt just a tiny bit vain? I know I'm not the skinny twig girl they are trying to look for and a plain Jane look. But I knew I would never get this chance again, and I could say that I've done it. But, I guess it wasn't meant to be, since my car(which recently broke down) I found out a couple days before I planned to leave, that the gaskets broke and my engine was toast. Thus I really had no transportation to go to town 2 hours away from me. oh well...maybe next year?
Anyone else, atleast think about it?

no......and since I am waaaaay past the age limit for being a model, no. Though I have always wanted to be in a movie as an extra (kept asking my sister-n-law who was an actress if she knew anyone who wanted women with realllllllllly loooong hair....she gave my name to a few people, but I dont sit by the phone waiting for it to ring). I dont photograph well since I have really white skin (my ped when I was a kid always asked me why I was soo pale---she was greek, my background swedish....I think if she has to ask me maybe she needs a few more doctor classes!).

Hmm now I'm gonna have to check mails too ^^!
They have the dutch version of it here too (Holland's Next Top Model), but I'm too young for that... (well even if I was a little older I don't think I'd stand any chance since I'm probably too plain) Otherwise, it's not as big as the American version of it and they are trying so hard to be exactly like the American version it's less fun. Like, the dutch "Tyra Banks" Yfke Sturm tries to say the exact same things as Tyra... I hope they start showing the other American cycles soon!

I don't think they have anything like ANTM here in Belgium... Just the usual 'Miss ... ' contests, and I'd never enter one of those. Ever xD
I'm glad emails will be sent, I'm in such a different timezone that I think it would be highly unusual if I was online at the same time as the others... Except other Europeans, of course.
Stupid question, maybe, but can you PM someone or see if he/she is online if they're on another server?
