Although the program can still be used when the trial is up, you just have this annoying window in the middle of your screen saying "blahblahblah register me naiow"

You should probably be able to get a look like that with litestep, which is free and will let you create all sorts of different GUIs on the PC.

My PC desktop back when I last used Litestep:

I don't used tabs, but it is a normal feature of litestep to have them.
