All Mesmer City of Torc'qua Completion
Hi
As part of the weekly all mesmer team meets, a group of us decided to give the new skills a try. Where else to test them is that traditional mesmer no go zone of the DoA.
The team faced a number of build challenges, but we ended up running a shadow form tank with mimicry to extend SF so they could survive.
The other mesmers ran variations on Mor+Cry of Pain for damage. We had two mesmer/monks to provide prot an heal. The idea was to use as many Mesmer skills as possible, so there were no nukes, no SS just the secondary profession skills needed to survive.
Fighting to the city
Note the killing power. Most mobs did not survive longer than 3 seconds if agro was right. Properly aggro'd mobs would evaporate. Ina test run to foundry for example the titan mob in the first room was dead in under 3s. With damage of over 1500 in the area, with a 1/4 sec cast time, any survivors were rapidly finished off.
First part of the quest complete
Lord Jadoth is dead
Reward and celebration.
Deaths were minimal and it was a really great run. Congrats to all involved, for the record the completion time was 1:24

Please let us know how the other areas go. I'm a bit curious if you can run your build in the other area's.

People had mentioned that city was a little too easy, so this weeks run we completed city in Hard Mode with the all mesmer team.
It took a little more time at 1:38 and the main additional hassle was the hex removal by the Ki'. However a Guildie mesmer managed to craft their armbrace so it made the trip extra nice.

I would love to go on one of these one of these days. I should start looking at potential Mesmer team builds; I tend to run Illusion but I'd think in an all-Mesmer team a little more flexibility might be needed.
Very nice work!
