Just messing around with simple stuff.
Here's my newest Warrior, Caela Radek. I'm really glad ANet decided to make the cheaper armors on some of the characters look good. Non-Elite Sunspear looks great I think for how cheap it is. Still, that's not stopping my goal of the new Primevil armor, fwahah.

Halloween Event: (so much fun this year, not as fun as last though that's for sure).
I probably could've added a bit more depth in the first one, and there's a wee smudge by her thumb, but, alas. I don't really care.

Don't listen to the tutorial! Use layer masks instead of the damn erasor.

It depends on what you are trying to do and most times using the eraser is easier.

It's just easier to duplicate layer, blur it, use eraser.

M'kay. I never mind (and actually welcome) other image editing processes but sometimes people do lack a bit of...tact. We're nearing 30 pages and everyone has been very constructive thus far. Please Apocamentus, join the club. If you do happen to know a different way to craft images post it here so other can try it (me included). This is what this thread is all about.
Back on images. The depth of field is something that the in-game camera cannot do since the game doesn't use any. In order to simulate one, you'll need to make one or two more layers and use the gaussian blur (blurrier on the deepest layer and less blurrier on the top ones).
Here's an example:
Oh and Mai, your little postcard is surely, if not the, most creative shot I've seen in a long time.

Ty it was something I just tossed together. I could've made it look more authentic but I liked the outcome of it.

Err no, layer mask is just as easy as erasor, but you can redraw bits you have rubbed out with ease - it's 'non-destructive'

Well if some you want to know how to do it if you don't know already, you just go to the bottom of the layers window and click add layer mask. Basically when you are drawing in your layer mask you use the brush tool. If you paint over your image with black it wubs away, and if you paint with white it restors your image. This makes it SO MUCH EASIER to change mistakes. If you choose grey colours when masking it's only rubs out some of it, the same as lower opacity I guess. Very simple stuff really.
Another advantage of layers is you can remove them, edit them, and make them invisable how you want.
Hope that helps then

I like it, but you should really turn your graphics to max before taking a picture, makes it look a lot more smooth (that includes 4X AA)
