Very nice work, all. I just wanted to take the opportunity to stop by and let you know that I have removed some replies that were attacking other posters in this thread/not relating to the topic of this thread. Let's try to keep this thread friendly and on topic. Thank you.

im loving this ^^

edit: seems the dodge thing isn't that great.. I hate using that, if you go over 1 area twice it becomes too light, so annoying for the little spots..

I like the top one of these 2. I like how it looks like its been painted on a canvas. I was looking at this thread and wondering if you could make a sceen shot look like those old Japanese scroll type artwork and I think your really close to making it look like that. Good job!

I sometimes save mine as .png, then resize in Paint Shop to about 85-95%, save, send to Imageshack(they only allow 1.5 MB). you could also not click the resize button, if you do that.

Here's an image I took from a post. It is from Aren Darksword from whom I asked to send me his original because I wanted to take a crack at it. I simply cropped the sides a bit in order to give the character a bit more presence and worked on the lighting along some dodging. Here's the result:

@ broodijzer: The dodge tool is tricky but you must use it like you would a brush and click repeatedly on the same spot as it can mess the effect. By "brushing" with the dodge tool you can create softer, more natural effects.

For all who contribute to this thread, I really want to thank you for keeping it alive and to fill it with very creative images. I really like to see all the experiments you are all doing. And if I may ask, when you post a creative image, do not hesitate to fill us in on the program you used and the steps you took to achieve your result.

And last but not least, here's a little experimental shot I worked on last night; the model is my ritualist Asanj backlit with a setting sun. I like the way it turned out.

On a side note, I want to thank Dralspire for taking care of this thread

In an attempt to use it as a wallpaper, I doubled its size, wich is why it may look a bit edgy at places. I'll work on that later.
