WTB seconded :'D!
The evaluations were easier to think than to write, I hope I didn't sound offensive or pretentious 9_9; (lulz if my pm got lost again)
I'm happy my shot was still accepted, thank you thank you~!
Oh and one little request surfaced at last Sunday's party, we thought it'd be great if Nilene&co could give some specific time for the *final* results (when we're down to the last two, that is, and the last assignment is done), so we could arrange a glamorous gala that everyone would be welcome to attend. It'd be awesome if we all could spend time together waiting anxiously for the results, and then congratulate the winner (and everyone else, too!).

Results, tomorrow evening! I just got home from a double shift, I have to work tomorrow morning as well, so I'm a bit overwhelmed at the moment and I just want to shower and sleep. I really spent the past hour trying to reread and edit everything, but the computer screen is giving me a migraine, and I just can't stare at it anymore.
I did get everyone's submission so no need to worry about that!

Week 09 Additional Critique
I'm gonna try and be brief cause I'm not feeling well, so here are some of the comments we received in your additional assignment:
Arala Starsong
Out of the final 3, I think my submissions have caused the most controversy. Whether they love her or hate her, people have been talking about Arala, and in the end, that publicity and exposure is what modelling is about! I've consistently scored well throughout the cycle, and I know I could pull out something awesome to wow the judges for the final submission.
Judges: We all feel that between the final three, you have the strongest overall portfolio, you've never been in bottom two, and your work has shown consistancy.
Lokii Dia: The person I would be honored to be final two with is Arala Starsong, I believe that her portfolio is alot stronger than than Szei's, to be honest, I would like to go against the stronger competitor of the two.
Szei Ren: Arala has has throughout the competition delivered some very good-quality shots and she knows how to use backgrounds to her advantage, but some of her shots have looked rather bland and some of the previous ones also lacked the spirit she's showed in her best work.
Lokii Dia
Judges: You didn't quite tell us why you deserved to be in the final two, nor did you judge the current assignment for your competitors, you just discussed your competitors performance overall. That aside, we feel that between the final three, you are the most improved. From being the person who was one with the background and didnt properly showcase yourself, you really made some leaps and bounds over the last few rounds.
Arala Starsong: Lokii has produced some incredible shots also, but there are a few more mediocre ones in there. It's a case of genius versus brilliance with these ladies, and I'm afraid from my point of view, Szei just comes out a little ahead on the day. I think a few of Lokii's shots, like in Photoshoot 3, were lacking some of the finesse that Szei has shown through the whole competition.
Szei Ren: Lokii is currently my favourite because she's a totally charming person and I think she's really improved during the competition. Both her assignment and off-shots have great emotional and energic tones, and I've absolutely loved her latest shots. I do believe it's Arala who will be in the final two with me and I consider her my worst rival, but the question was who'd deserve the spot and I sincerely believe that'd be Lokii, because she's been doing some really striking shots that have surprised me every round.
Szei Ren
I deserve my place in the final round because I've been actively (zealously, even!) participating in this competition, by handing in high quality pictures and posting in the official thread as well as in the feedback forum. I know how to make attractive, emotional and, more than anything, good-looking shots, and I've put enormous effort to this competition by creating supporting characters especially for certain assignments, getting new but totally useless armor, etc.
Judges: We think that you started off strong during the beginning stages of the competition, your first four shots we're some of the best this cycle had to offer, but lately, we feel that your performance has been pretty stale.
Arala Starsong: Szei has been a standout performer. Her shots have always made me go back for a second, or third look.
Lokii Dia: Szei I can tell was always trying to find her groove in this competition. She always tried to find something new, and I really found her her images in the request forums spectacular and feared she could win this all if she could keep it up.
I will be sending the MOTW winner a PM/Email shortly, ensuring that person of their guaranteed spot in the finale. The two that does not get a pm/email will wait for their verdict tomorrow!
Good Luck Final Three!

The Final Two
Well, the wait ends here! The final two that will advance into the finale will be revealed...so lets start with the MOTW for this...rather, last week lol
http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z...ive/09MOTW.png
Congratulations to the MOTW! Your prize will be an in game prize of 10 diamonds!
With that being said, only one more person will join our MOTW in the finale. Both of the remaining contestants are very deserving, but only one of them will remain in the competition. The decision was very difficult, but the person that will advance into the finale and will join the MOTW to make up the final two in Tyria's Next Top Model Cycle 2 is...
http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z...e/FinalTwo.png
Which means the eliminee is...

Congratulations to our eliminee for making it this far into the competition!
Alright final two, focus and be ready for finale week! The in game interview and final photoshoot will begin next week, so relax and gather your thoughts and start preparing yourselves!
One again, congratulations final two for making it to the finale and of course to our eliminee for making it to top three!!!

Congratulations Szei and Arala! Wow, this is going to be a tough contest. I already have my favourite though (go Szei! Rangers ftw! Show those eles who's the sexiest! )
Hugs to Lokii... you did great getting into the top three. You should be proud of yourself. It's hard being eliminated in the very last stretch of the game, but you've done some amazing work to get this far.

I just read all of this thread in one go, thankyou to all who originally entered for some great shots, and congrats to the final two
However, I would like to say I think Mila's Wrath entry (here), was simply astounding purely judged as a guildwars screenshot. It was simply the most gutwrenching, deep feeling, atmospheric screenshot I have ever seen from Guildwars, and I believe most PC games magazine editors would have bought that shot in a second given the chance.
With that said and done, good luck to both of you for the end of the competition!

with what Kris said, I'm going to have to say that this is still a good competition with all the drama aside and just going through and looking at all the assignments you can tell everyone had fun and did a great job
thanks to Nilene for putting this together, its probably really stressful for you having a job and then coming home to read everyone fighting over a judges comment or having to go through everyones assignment for the week you probably think why cant this be over so I can go take a nice hot bubble bath and enjoy myself??
I'll follow the next cycle and hope there isnt nearly as much drama, that just made parts of this cycle extremely unfun and made me hate being in it at some points
good luck to both arala and szei between the 2 of you I really dont know which of you I'd rather win, you both had some really good shots
and Nilene has anyone won the mini contest yet? o.o

It is a very tough call. I think Arala has probably shown herself to be the most consistent, with a very clean style that emphasizes composition and eye-catching color schemes. Szei has been the mountain/valley competitor it seems, catching a quite a few MOTWs and bottom two weeks with a style that I would describe as subject-focused with a big, saucy ranger front and center.
Too bad for Lokii, I thought she was the sassy/fun/ "it" girl. For what it's worth, I thought the final three could have gone either way, and the final two looks the same to me.
