Honestly, it's just a bit of drama in a faux modeling competition. With the right outlook it can be seen as added entertainment in a thread meant to entertain. And if that's not acceptable, ignoring edrama tends to put out teh flame fastest...

Believe what some are irritated by are the overwhelming numbers of *cough cough anyomous guildies that have reciently made accounts in support of one of the models ~all the (girls) work hard and are appreciated but when it comes down to it one has to be eliminated. (Keep in mind theres always next Cycle.) Cant wait to see what the Girlz come up with on this assignment! /pouts Caleb, I think you may have stolen the show had you been given a sin /wink~!!!

For you Mila, Shadez is belonging to [RIP], I have no specific support for anyone model only the talent and by this I mean all those involved.
As for Caleb, he has a great eye for beauty, but needs to focus on the Art/Design ~ bleh.... (goes for all actually) meaning cropping ~ foreground ~ background ~ placement........Focal Points and where your eye is lead tells alot bout the photo ~ or what the model is selling.

And btw if your gonna take a quote please DO NOT HACK up what I say to suit you because I did give props to ******(~ all the (girls) )*****

That suggests to me that you are indeed the batch of anonymous guildies. I cant decide on ur point.

But yeh! This assignment is great fun! I've chosen my picture already, couldnt wait to get working on it, but i cant bring myself to crop it!! I love the whole thing too much =[.

LadyN, for this assignment do we basically JUST send the pic in? nothing else? (cropped and uncropped ofc)

hehe i am kidding, but its just a shame, i really enjoyed 1st round, not just the pics of girls in competition, but from people that were asking for advice and such..now all i can see here is 10 pages without any ss ,just pointless fights..

I think part of the reason for that is that they requested that those sorts of posts be moved to a thread dedicated for that.

TNTM Boot Camp - Survival of the Fiercest
TNTM Cycle 3
TNTM Cycle 4
TNTM All Stars or a Cycle 5

and maybe even more!

TNTM Boot Camp is still in the talks... originally, we wanted it to be a three way contest between Cycle 1, 2 and potential 3 contestants, but since the release of Guild Wars Eye Of The North is earlier than expected, we might just go ahead and push Cycle 3 first. And hold Boot Camp off, who knows, it might even be a Male versus Female if we can get TMW on board with the idea of a battle of the sexes type deal.

But definitely, look forward for more TNTM!

Arala Starsong - Gluttony

Judge 1: I love the pose, the whole picture itself looks great. However, this isn't gluttony for me. Gluttony is an over consumption, its an extreme, this just looks like a rich aristocrat having a sip of champagne, rather than someone who is just gone overboard with the bottle.

Judge 2: I like this picture, you look like you're sitting on your bum waiting for more food to be brought to you, and you're just drinking away.

Judge 3: I really liked where you were going with this picture, but I definitely think the shot you showed on the other thread was much more convincing. If you had used that shot, and had done it with the servers with the trays of food and drinks around you, you would've totally nailed gluttony for me, this shot falls just short of gluttony.

Bierflesjes Klauw - Sloth

Judge 1: Everything in this picture is right, the tree over there is dead and lifeless, the skies are gloomy, your armor is grey, everything is monotone and stale.

Judge 2: I love the pose used in this shot, its a boring pose, which is perfect for sloth. You look like you're just standing there like a lazy person just waiting for time to pass you by in slow motion, the colors really work.

Judge 3: This is a good shot, everything does sort of work in your favor, even your skin tone is pale. I would like to see more on your character's part to show sloth, the pose right now is safe and bored, which is good, but take it to the next level and do something more interesting that also shows bored. Like /sigh, you had a really nice shot with your eyes closed in the feedback thread, so I think you could've done better.

Lokii Dia - Pride

Judge 1: My biggest problem with this shot is that it's almost too close to wrath. I almost want to label this picture wrath rather than pride. It looks like people are begging you to spare their lives rather than begging you for help. I think the dark and eerie background really pushed your picture of pride into wrath. Something more low key would've been more suited for pride.

Judge 2: I agree with the background to some extent, it really is does pushes your interpretation of pride into wrath. The pose is right on target though, you look very vain, very egotistical.

Judge 3: Pose is strong. I can picture your character just saying "talk to the hand". Love the pose, very strong, very confident, very prideful.

Lunamaria Cruz - Lust

Judge 1: Wow. Wow. Wow. This picture really takes my breath away, this is lust. This is an extreme, this isn't just sexy, it isn't sensual, it's lust. You totally nailed your sin perfectly, and you are the center of attention.

Judge 2: This shot is really steamy, it's almost just like the photoshoot they did in Canada's Next Top Model recently, where the male models we're holding the model's naked breast and everything. It's a very sexy shot.

Judge 3: This is lust, everything works. I love the background choice, its dark and full of candles, the guy's are all shirtless, its very raunchy. I think the female dervish should've had less clothes as well, cause right now, she does look like the odd man out.

Mila Fox - Wrath

Judge 1: On the plus side, this picture is dark, on the negative side, this picture is dark. This does feel like wrath, the land is destroyed, and you're a lone figure in the dark with your scythe, you look very demonic, very evil, very dark. You did lose the face, but you did capture wrath to it's fullest.

Judge 2: You did capture wrath, but it's not worth it if you lose the modeling appeal to it. If you we're going that far, I would say just put on the hood and go all out, least that way, you would totally nail wrath and look like some demonic grim reapper.

Judge 3: You captured exactly what I wanted from wrath, you look vengeful and evil, and full of wrath.

Miss Melly - Greed

We're all really shocked that you did not send in a submission, we all saw the beautiful picture of greed you took in the feedback thread, we loved how you used the piles of jewels in the background, but also, made your own by dropping some gold to the side as well. We're all sure that you're probably busy with your own circumstances, but unfortunately, not sending in an assignment will hurt your standing in the competition. Whatever the case may be, we will take in your past work into consideration during deliberations, and we wish the best for you and whatever you may be going through.

Szei Ren - Envy

Judge 1: This is a good shot for envy, it's very envious, I like the body language, you do look like someone who is extremely jealous at someone they're looking at.

Judge 2: This shot is just green, it doesn't show me envy. It's green, but certainly not with envy. This was your oppurtunity to really utilize and show us that you can take command of your aura and use it to its fullest. I think if you used a good beckon or point emote and have your aura trail your hand, it would've made more of a statement for me "I wish I had that".

Judge 3: I think this is a good shot for envy, you do look like a "mean girl" with her hands on her hip just thinking "ugh, I wished I had this and that".

Everyone really showed promise this week, and unfortunately someone didn't turn in an assignment at all...we have our scores and we will deliberate shortly, so good luck to everyone!

I can assure you, /point and /beckon didn't nor wouldn't have worked at all. The former just looks curious and sincere, and the latter is just something totally not "envy". The only other emote I could have hoped to use was /pout, which I almost sent in but wasn't too happy with the light.

All the pictures sent in this week have been stunning :O really strong, every one of them. Waiting anxiously for the scores~!
