So yeah... I missed all the fun stuff.

Wish I could have been there longer but I had bowling. Oh well.

Glad everyone had fun without me. =P

This may just be a rumor, but I heard that something is being planned for Szei and Ivan. =P

I'll find out in a couple days how I did, this was just a qualifier. Depending on what my handicap is for the tournament I may or may not make it into the semi finals.

And yeah I was there for a little bit, but I wish I could have stayed for the entire thing...

I just dont understand what all the fuss is about. My two favorites this week are Mila Fox and Beyoncee Knowlez. I love the way that Beyoncee went out of her way to capture a pet and use that in the shot. I just love the way that she matches her kid. Also after all is said and done this is a MODELING competition. The Models are selling their clothes. In almost every other picture the models clothes are hidden behind their kid, or in some way hidden. If you look through the pictures of this week you will see that Beyoncee is the only model that shows her entire armor set. If this is a modeling competition then the models are trying to sell clothes and i feel like this is not happening with the other models, even in most of the past shoots.

O RLY?!?!

I've had enough. But first of, WELCOME to the boards. I hope you didn't create an account just to support Beyoncee. If so SO many people seem to identify Beyoncee's god almighty talent through:

- Bringing a pet to the scene (OMGOD, a flamingo, REALLY?!)
- Being colour coordinated (clearly matching colours is rocket science. OH, and contrasting colours can actually work too? OH of course not, MATCHING is the ONLY way to go!)
- (And the first time i've ever heard this absurd point) showing an entire armor set, because modelling is just about the clothing.

Clearly, you have to get your facts straight Bob.

This is NOT a modelling competition, it is an INGAME competition for a game known as Guild Wars. People don't actually model in them, but they try to create pictures that resemble fashion shots, or real life models.

Secondly, even if this is a modelling competition, who created the amendment that a model MUST show the entire clothing? Who says modelling or fashion is solely about the clothes? WHO?

These REAL LIFE (yes, there is life beyond guild wars!) models think otherwise:

http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q..._2006/Mary.jpg

By Miles Aldridge, one of the most respected fashion photographers. Model doesn' have any clothing, No FULL ARMOR SET SHOWN (omgod, Beyoncee is better than her!11!) OH, and wow, she actually portrayed the theme correctly!? A religious themed photoshoot, and she's mostly naked? SKANKY!

http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q...2006/Tanya.jpg

oh, wow, no way, contrasting colours!? I thought colours had to match! What? Abomination I say! Oh top of that, her leggings are cut off! NO WAY, she's too poor to buy 15k armor leggings! FTW!

Now, let's move back to Beyoncee's shot:

I wish I didn't need to be completely honest, but all these naysayers are just begging for a spanking.

- I can barely see Beyoncee, her face is so far away.
- I don't care if this is skanky or not, it's all personal opinion, but even if you were trying to portray clothing, it's too small to notice the details. Come closer.
- no connection at all with the child. if there was a wall between the child and you, get another one. Simple as that.
- Flamingo steals the shot. It's the tallest, it's the most flamboyant, and it's better looking than beyoncee.
- Pose is boring. Great that you're pointing at the flamingo, now go find me a real life fashion shot with someone posed like that. Or find a shot with an animal that is nearly as boring as this one, its nigh impossible.
- Boring background. Great that you're not in Vabbi like a lot of others, but is this honestly the best place you can find?
- Footsteps on ground ruin the rather serene mood. It's just adds more unneccessary distraction to a very messy shot.

I just don't get all this fuss! Obviously, beyoncee could have put much more effort into this shot. Anyone else trying to defend that effort of a picture can get a 10 page essay slamming them down.

Now please, let's see much less conflict in weeks to come please.

I don't get all the fuss either, why are you willing to write 10 pages against poor Beyoncee? Do you have a personal agenda against her?? Aren't you marrying someone in the game?? Do you also cosplay as tidus irl??

Maybe because hes tired of people argueing it so he decided to write a long response to point out the flaws with the picture? I'm sure if people were argueing over anyone else's picture he would do the same
And I thought it was Unlucky Slayer that was marrying someone ingame >_>

oooo! people like Seandom annoy me. I love u guys! (Geishe and Slayer) I've been lurking in the shadows watching these threads since cycle 1. Shame there are some silly people here this cycle posting. I don't think the contestants themselves are behaving that badly at all, its the random supporters who seem to be lowering the vibe.

Anyway.. back to shadows I go...

lol, oh guildies.

Maria last cycle had a lot of guildie support, but none of them were as aggressive as Beyoncee's guild.

I'm only pointing out the obvious flaws. Beyoncee and I already chatted.

Alright alright alright... No more talk... Any more talk about this week's assignment before the scores are posted will be deleted and usernotes handed out. I'm getting tired of this crap.

Thats why I stopped posting here. <Along with I was kindly asked not to... >>; >

You post something here, and it starts a gigantic drama fight for no reason. What you think is your opinion, and don't fight about what happens. If you don't like their opinions, well posting here won't change it, and neither will fighting about someone else's opinion. Yes, we know the judges are wrong sometimes, but thats what they think of it, and they are obviously picked as judges for a reason.

Along with, why is there so much drama about such a little competition? Its just a way for those who are participating to have fun and get money for knowing how to take in-game screenshots. Why care so much about it? If you lose, nothing bad really happens... They can post in the other topic if you want them to continue to post pictures...

Exclamation Week 04 MOTW/Elimination Results

Sorry for the delay everyone, I'm sure everyone is excited and anxious to see what the results are, so without anymore distractions...here are this weeks scores...

Arala Starsong - 7, 8, 8 = 23
Beyoncee Knowlez - 1, 5, 4 = 10
Bierflesjes Klauw - 4, 1, 2 = 7
Lokii Dia - 5, 6, 6 = 17
Lunamaria Cruz - 9, 5, 4 = 18
Mila Fox - 2, 2, 3 = 7
Miss Melly - 8, 9, 7 = 24
Mojave Mango Juice - 3, 3, 1 = 7
Szei Ren - 6, 7, 9 = 22

So our two top scores belong to Arala Starsong and Miss Melly, while our lowest scores belong to Bierflesjes Klauw, Mila Fox, and Mojave Mango Juice.

Arala Starsong - We felt your shot was almost near perfection, the shot between you and your child npc was very soft and tender.

Miss Melly - We also felt that you captured the emotion well in your shot, however, we we're disappointed that the child wasn't fully featured.

Both of you managed to capture the raw emotion that we wanted, but the one we felt was stronger was...

http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z...ive/04MOTW.jpg

Congratulations to our MOTW! For winning MOTW, you may pick one of two special prizes...

1. A contest prize of three additional points added to your next score for the following week.

Or.

2. An in game prize of four globs of ectoplasm.

Please get in touch with me with your decision to your nearest convinience!

As for our eliminations...

Bierflesjes Klauw - Turning in a picture without carefully examining it for the slightest detail can really hurt you. Although we felt your picture had great energy between you and your child, we completely overlooked that because of the armor glitch.

Mila Fox - One of the strongest competitors, winner of two MOTW, and now up for elimination. You too need to pay closer attention to the details in your shot. The way you photographed in your screen made you look like a complete mess. We also wonder if you can step outside of your signature dance poses as well.

Mojave Mango Juice - Time and time again you haven't been able to deliver a picture that just blew our minds away. We chose you to participate because we felt you had some of the best application pictures there were. We know that you are capable of much, but you have yet to show us that potential in the competition.

Two of you have produced amazing shots in this competition, but are now grasping at the straws, while the other can meet the bare minimum and nothing more. The decision has been made and the person that will leave tonight is...

http://i193.photobucket.com/albums/z...limination.jpg

Congratulations to everyone who made it pass this round of competition and to our MOTW, and of course, to our eliminee this week for making it this far into the competition!
