I made the poll hoping that people would go by the first image and the text stuff... Not by what was posted in the thread so far.

One teensy problem with that, though, is that the order of the pictures doesn't match the order of the quotes. Once I realized that the class of a quote didn't match the class of the character in the "slice", I had no idea who was who.
(I must say...the second-from-the-right necromancer reminds me sooo much of AJ from ANTM Cycle 7!)

The polls are all in good fun! Let's keep that in mind! Polls aren't going to save anyone from anything lol If you think we're going by exactly what we done last cycle, you are in for a surprise! Of course there is always going to be a similar mold to what we do, but we do want to keep everyone on their toes and keep things new and fresh each cycle we do!
Again, polls are just for fun! There's no extra added bonuses or any prizes for the highest votes or what not!

Could anyone please point me to a good image hosting website? Imageshack is squishing my shots and making them blurry. And woah, this was a tricky one! January in Australia we're normally wearing thongs and singlets, so I had to think out of my perception of January.

I sent in an application for this one as well, but unfortunatly it wasnt very strong and being a past contestant and winner I would have had to have had the perfect application. New faces and attitudes are always nice in a contest of this calibur anyway. Here are 2 shots from my application.
I really like almost all the contestants this time and I already have some favorites. Turns out someone from my alliance made the top 12, although I havnt seen any of her pictures yet.
Good luck to all this seasons contestants, can't wait to see the first round

use http://photobucket.com
this is DAAAA BEST
not only it lets you same huge images and not loose quality, you also can see all the images you ever uploaded as thumbnails with each's URL (so dont need to upload same pic twice if you ever need)
good luck to everyone who made it in top 12, i cant wait to see the assigments, this is so exciting, almost as exciting as when i was a contestant

Both Photobucket and Imageshack wont resize your pictures if they're below a certain size... Though photobucket has the habit of resizing more than imageshack in my expierence.

Is that for all non-contestant pictures (like the people who do the assignments for fun), or specifically for those who want feedback?

Oh my god you bastard! I wish you would have told me you were going for it again, I would have totally submitted my paragon.
I see how everyone is submitting their own photo's and I don't want to jump on the bandwagon, but I'll show one "sample" from a past contestant. I won't do this again, I just had free time.
For Fall Season Months.
The best poses you'll find are sometimes not emotes. Skill animations, attack actions, different weapon stances from attacking, and other things you can try. You can find really good shots during your character's dance as well. Also, Use your environment! You're in a photoshoot where the background is key. Screenies involving the background and environment objects look more natural and free flowing, rather than stiff, which a lot of emotes tend to be. Too much background though can be dangerous. Don't get lost in it!
/Beckon is a great emote, becoming over used! You can change it up by using the environment or a different angle, just try to be original! Be different and try weird things! You never know, it might turn out amazing.

I agree with Unlucky Slayer. Both are nice hosting services but for larger pictures imageshack is much kinder and usually doesn't do unnecessary resizing whilst Photobucket is a nazi. For smaller 'model' type pics I like to use photobucket myself but for hugeass wallpapers it's definatelly imageshack.

Just wow. Your pictures really DO stand out and I love the armor dyes! But I would understand since you were the last time's winner that it should not be easy to get picked.

Oh my goodness.. lol.. The only matches you would have seen on obs would have been of us getting owned.
and thanks guys, I ended up going with imageshack for these particular pics, and I'll take each ones on a case by case basis I guess!
Lovely shot Katina, and it's always good to hear tips from last cycle . <3

That's true, I'm going to wait untill I see the pictures of the assignment and then I'll vote as well.
As for the assignment, we can send via email or pm right, and the email, must it be to TNTM representative (from when we got emailed)? (almost totally sure on that one, but to be 100% sure I'm asking again)
I'm almost done with picking the picture I want to take (one of the hardest parts of it all imho ^^) so again good luck to everyone!
