This is from the GW official wiki, not the former one that I usually use... no wonder I never saw these before.... i'm surprised o.O... IMO this phoenix looks much better than the other.

I was so dead set on getting a white moa but... WHITE CRAB q.q wintersday moa! i don't know anymore!

For the Rainbow Phoenix. Im guessing you need to finish the endgame?

I have all Tapestries up, and unaccompanied, but no phoenix...

ive heard lots of ppl have problems getting the rainbow pheonix to spawn
for me it was there after i was finished, i was thinking maybe u need first level of Adventurer of the North title
anyway for size refernce about the pheonix, here is my monk
shes smallest, but this thing is huge, specially spreding its wings

Current theory on another forum re: Rainbow Phoenix is that maybe you need People Know Me or above. Anyone without this been able to get a Phoenix? (I have IVI and had one in my hall ^^). I don't have r1 in Adventurer though.

The rainbox phoenix spawned for me as well after completing the campaign and I have People Know Me title, so I think the theory about needing to have People Know Me or a higher rank of the title for the spawn could be correct.

You need 10 maxed titles and all tapestries for it to spawn in HoM. It's only there when you are alone.
Two more skill titles to go for People Know Me!

Have any of you been successful at traing the new phoenix to "Dire" ? I have made 7 attemps and the change messes up between lvl 14 and 15. Will remain aggressive and turn "Elder" at Lvl 20.

Update from my last post:

I have gone through 15, yes that is right 15 "Rainbow Phoenix" pets. I am unable to and I am not the only one, to train it to "Dire". I have been reading and reading to try to get some idea of what is going on. I managed to be able to keep my pets from taking any damage, and doing all the killing. I would run into groups and just sit there with a shield...no weapon. The highest I would get the R-Phoenix, is Elder. Most times, just comes out as Aggressive. I have asked around and mostly, people would just tell me the same thing over and over...."man you must not know what you are doing, get better build. I am sorry, after 2 yrs of playing, I know I have clue.

Here is an experiement I have done:

Took pets from the following and what do you know, using the same tactics as with the R-Phoenix, they ALL evolved to "Dire".

EotN: Polar Bear, Mountain Eagle.

Kyria : Desert Lizzard, Linx
Old Ascolon : Stider, Wolf(near Icy Cove)

Cantha : White Tiger, Reef Lurker

Elona: Lion, and Croc.

So with that, has anyone heard of when possibly the bug of why the Rainbow Phoenix is unable to be trained as Dire be fixed?

how do you level your pets so fast it took me quite some time to train him to lvl 15 at the mergoyles, is there a better way??
Do you train them to lvl 20 or only to lvl 15?

Mine didn't evolve at lvl 11 nor at lvl 15 so o thought they might not evolve at all but since you trained one to be agressive... (when did he turn agressive by the way?)
Maybe he will evolve at lvl 20 but he can't get dire anymore.

PS: anyone with a hearty rainbow phoenix out there?
