Great work Electric and Sister! WUNDERBAR!

Sister, I really like the artisitic style of that second one. Electric, thats a great effect to add in, gives the picture some depth. Here is a tip though that you can try to make those leaves look even cooler. Make a patch style via photoshop, then apply that to those leaves. Then add a bezel/emboss style to them (dont go crazy with just leaves), and then finally, add a pattern to them to make them appear more leaf like. Try that, and post what u come up with. I think you will be pleasantly surprised. But still, awesome job.

Here's the level of photoshop image editing finesse I usually operate on.

Ack! This did NOT come out the way I had hoped. I will work on a new, better one in the coming days. Oh well, that is what I get for rushing right? Anyways, here is the completed version.

Not because it is a thread I made, but because what is being done here; image modification and the how-to's, are exactly why I had started my thread. Rahja, even if you do include much of your own portfolio (like I did when I started my thread) and that your work is different, it doesn't matter. Look at all the posts in my thread and you'll see and admire a plethora of different styles.

On the plus side, my thread was (and still is) the only image thread with an exception concerning the image width. Normally, images should not in any case exceed 640 pixels (unless linked), but I had received special permission to have images up to 800 pixels.

Actually, I started this thread a long time ago for purely photoshop skills, and to go beyond image editting. But if you want to combine the two, I don't have an issue with that. I posted in your thread also Beth, so no worries kk? I've already gone through your thread, numerous times. This thread has been linked to in the popular threads sticky, if you hadn't noticed. That is why I decided to resurrect it, so that link wasn't pointless.

Dont know about you but if I saw "Bethany's Image Shop and Galley" and "Show off your Photoshop Skills" threads..probally pick the latter to post in. If you'd like people to post in your thread for whatever reason (or the issue you have with this one) perhaps a name change?

Rahja, don't worry. It's just that I saw the mechanics of both threads to be similar.

@ Verios: The title of my thread sounds a bit funny, but for the records, I had created that thread because many people had asked me how I crafted my screenshots. Instead of replying to everyone I decided to put everything into one nice thread. Now the thing is, the thread went lightyears beyond anything I ever suspected; in lenght, participation and popularity. I seriously expected the thread to get a dozen replies and that it would sink pretty fast into the forum's depths but lo and behold, it is still active today.

But seriously I am pretty good with photoshop I just can't find any good examples right now!

Those are great Ranger! The mario one is fantastic. Halo + Pokemon is a bit of an odd combo... but good image wise...
