Is this a trick question? I believe that armor does not dye correctly when black is applied.

Edit: Wait, it seems that this answers your question.

"Black dye on Male Pyromancer resulted in Dark purple. Red+Black has a very nice effect. Silver has a semi-translucent purple to it, that is very stunning."

Surely if you could afford fow armor you could afford one black dye?

I would do it on mine but I forgot the mix i am currently using so would have to spend forever trying to figure out the original mix

Posted elsewhere, but I completed my first (and probably only) set about a week ago.

Just a few screens after solo'ing FoW Forest:

I need to get more, and some action-shots some time. And I know, black can be pretty overused on FoW, but I've always had the base color of my MMORPG character's armor black, and I like it. May change in the future though~
