The un-dyed (left) look looks a lot better than the popular (and expensive) black look in my opinion. Need a group photo with the rest of the Fissure people here when we get a few more of the sets done.

When you obtain FoW armour, does it become available in the PvP creation menu?

no it does not. none of the 15k armors are available for pvp, unless you have brought you pve character into pvp.
-> you have to go to a crafter in the FoW to get the armor.

certainly does. Although having a black one really looks like: i got too much money so I use black dye to screw over my armor instead of giving it to newbies

Yeah, I see that. But, everyone else says that all male FoW warrior armor looks the same. All female necro FoW armor looks the same. Etc...
So if all monk armor looks the same, then won't the tattoo armor look like your Judge's armor?

This warrior fissure armor is awesome. Why?
Because we can finally mix and match different armor sets and still have one coherent (and awesomely sexy) look. I've always wanted knight or ascalon gauntlets, dragon chestplate and leggings, and gladiator boots, or something like that, except without looking like I armored myself from a junkyard. I'm glad there isn't a distinct look for each kind (gladiator, ascalon, dragon) in the FoW. The armor is perfect.
Except now I've gotta figure out how to pay for it...

If only there was a thief profession. You could go around robbing merchants and traders.
Easy money.

Runescape has such a profession. But, it was so hard that it wasn't worth it. You were better off just picking flax and making bowstrings.
But seriously, is there any good strategy for getting the ectoplasm and shards needed for the armor? Is UW/FoW runs the only way?

I sure hope that that's what it is. They didn't make different sets cause they didn't expect anyone to reach this point so soon, or it's taking them longer to design them than they had hoped.
I'd really love to have an irc session with the creators (Epic and Valve did that, was cool, got a lot of questions answered).

I thought that necro had a special off-hand item, like an evil puppet or something in his left hand.

Man I want to get the FoW warrior armor but it will just take forever to buy the stuff (I think I have enough money, around 400k + more in items I am trying to sell, witch will put me over 650k). I also can't even make it to the forge master! My groups always dye in the start of that forest of the second quest.

You dont need to do the forest. Just dont even go near there, and go straight for the dragons instead. Much easier
As well, the forgemaster quest is bugged, it may take a few times before it actually works.
