Just started toying with this last night... Upped the resolution on Derjyn's skin and current armor, as well as added a few touches: higher detail in the 5 o'clock shadow, a little scar, bit o' blood splatter, and of course some modified armor texture and color. The armor texture isn't as sharp as I'd like, so I consider this a WIP.

My first time MODDING with texmod, wanted to just do some quick thing to see how things work, and I whipped this up:

My Fiery Blade Axe and Tengu Shield mod. First two things I gave a try to mod.
Next up is her armor.
Sorry you can't see it too well. >_> I'll work on that.

I'm thinking about starting a little project... Doubling the resolution, or at least touching up a lot of the environment textures to be more detailed and crisp. Perhaps this could be a community project? I've already started laying down some basic stuff in PS...
I'm working it out so that after I get down a good general process, I can save it as an action and just batch it. Probably end up being a few different ones, based on original texture size, color, brightness/contrast, etc. Once I get a proper representation of what I had in mind, I'll post it.
I'm surprised there isn't more activity going on here, seeing as how we now have the ability to visually mod GW, and ANet is okay with it! That's just awesome.

Yeah. Some games have huge modding communities, and I hail from multiple, I wish more people were the same.
The new texture idea is pretty good. Do images for TexMod projects have to be the same resolution as the originals extracted from GW? If not, we can do A LOT with the game.

yeah they need to be the same size and have everything in the same "location" on the image plane or the image wont map onto the 3d models right.

I redid my paragons shield, spear, and armor/hair. Got bored of the white+gold so went black+gold, darkened the shields metal parts, put an orange layer over the shields shiny parts.
*cough cough*
Forgot the name-thing. Repost soon-ish?
