Omni Soulslayer the Necroblade
Upon hearing some fool mocking me, Omni Soulayer, I walked up to him and noticed he was a brutish man standing about my same height and maybe double my width in muscle.
"PPPPFfffffftttttt. Look at me! I'm a whittle necroblade! I swing my whittle sword and make whittle skeleton playmates! WHAAA HA HAAA. Why don't you just go home and let us warriors handle the Charr?! You can listen to your death metal and "headbang" all you want with your freak friends!"
Being a necroblade I did not put up with this kind of crap.
"I'll give you a choice. Go away or... I'll send you to the next world."
Things heated up until a Warmaster broke up the fight. By this time others were siding with the warrior saying I was "unatural" while some sided with me knowing the power of death.
It was to be settled in the arena.
The rules were simple. 4 v 4 but me and the warrior would fight seperatly from the others until one of us was defeated. 8 skills, 8 combatants, 2 teams, 1 victor, infinate honour.
The gates opened. All rushed out.
My teamates rushed left. "Good luck!", they said moving around the tarpit. The other side went to meet them. I went right around the tarpit to teach the fool that nothing could stand toe to toe with a necroblade.
"Pffft! You call that armor?!", mocked the warrior. My armor was bonelace. Simply bones of the fallen crafted together with leather. He had full metal breastplate with studded leather helm and bracers.
"These bones are from the last warrior who said that..."
He sprinted full charge... as all warriors do... Our blades met. His skill was equal to mine but he phsycal strength far bested mine.
"You don't have enough muscle to defeat me puny wimp!", said the warrior as he cut into my arm. No matter though... I had vampiric touch!
As he went to swing again I reached up and tapped his helm with my index finger and drained him.
"Uggg.... What the hell?!"
No matter how much he hit me I could always take some of his health away. He had studied as a monk and began healing himself. I started using vile touch to offset that. After getting him weak enough and still matching him blow for blow I got a solid hit on the top of his helm felling him.
By this time I realized the rest of my team was just about defeated and a monk and a elementalist still survived on my opponents side. The monk having just brought the elementalist back to life was charging toward me to raise her meat shield.
"I need more teamates...", I said as I began casting bone horror on the warrior. Half way through my spell the monk got there and began raising the warrior.
"Betrayer of the light, I will not let you win this day!"
I said nothing back... I would let my horror do the talking.
The horror rushed him and I too brought my blade. The warrior stood up and sprinted toward me with great vengence.
I giggled and said, "Oh what fun! I get to kill you again!"
Still low on energy from making the bone horror I was unable to use my vampiric ability. Vile touch was a cheap version without the drain but ended him just the same. You get what you pay for.
I began laughing as I watched the monk run in circles around me while my horror chased him.j
"Haaaahahahahaah Idiot!"
I stuck out my blade and he ran right into it. "The signet raze would have been better because the warrior would have had full life. Even with the bone horror I probably wouldn't be able to take you all on if he had more strength.", I explained to the dying monk.
Then I realized that there should be another... Where was the elementalist?
Standing many feet away from me she called out, "If you move I will fire storm this entire area! With the damage you have taken from them you wont be able to reach me in time. And seeing as your life gaining spell needs to touch me and you can't hit me with your sword from there... I win!"
She was right. If I tried to attack her now I wouldn't even get a hit in before I would be consumed in flame. I needed a way to regain my health.
"Well I have other ways of healing..."
I opened my mouth and instantly the soul of the monk went into it. The elementalist shuddered at the sight and fired off her spell. I walked... WALKED up to her and beat her down. She ran. They always do.
I called to her, "I do have one ranged health spell but the problem with them is they take to long to cast I can't use my body as the medium. I save life syphon for the runners..."
It was cast.
She slowed down from a sprint to a jog, a jog to a brisk walk, a walk to a stagger, and feel to her knees breathing heavily. Although the spell wouldn't be able to kill her it felt like she was dying.
I once again walked up to her and stood above her. She wheeled around and said with great defiance, "I wont give you the satisfaction of hearing me scream!"
"A severed head never does...", I replied with a smile, raising up my blade. She did infact scream at that. But only for a second...
Hope you guys liked my story about my first character.
