Second Meet & Greet and Grand Opening for GWRPA: June 3rd/4th!
I said we were going to make a fansite for roleplayers, so Tachana and I did! This week's Meet & Greet event will also be the official grand opening of the Guild Wars Roleplay Association! ( www.gwrpa.org )
Due to popular demand, I'll hostess this event in Ascalon City (Post-Searing) so everyone can attend. We'll be at the campfire where the Scribe NPC is, a little out of the way from normal traffic, in the International District 1. Same time as last week, around 7pm EST Friday night until late Saturday night... or 12am (Midnight) GMT Saturday morning until early Sunday.
Bring your stories, conversations, and friends! Last week was a great turnout, and hopefully this weekend will be, too! Keep in mind there will be two purposes for this event: 1) to promote our new RP fansite and forums, and 2) for RPers to meet each other and find new friends, guilds, and hunting groups. If at any time you want to break off from the party for a mission or expedition in an area more level-appropriate to you, or you'd like to move to a location with less griefers or chat, by all means, go ahead! Everyone is welcome to come and go as they like. The population fluctuates based on the time of day anyway.
Here's the location:

I hope to see lots of new and familiar faces!

Darn it all work made me miss the first one and looks like I will miss this one too. However good luck with this and I wish you all the very best in your efforts to make GW a more RP friendly place. Also good luck with your site as well!

I read about the first one and got all excited about it. Sadly, my head was soon filled with the stresses of trying to get ready to move out of state, get my car road-worthy, reserve a u-haul, saving funds, etc. and it completely slipped my mind. I'm a little less burnt out now, and hope to make it to this weekends! Can't wait to see you all!
