A Ranger and a (black) Melandru's Stalker
I know it's quite divergent from the actual Guild Wars style of art, but I had fun doing it and that's all I cared about.
I guess the Stalker must be lvl 5, 'cause it's kinda small. Makes sense since the setting looks most like Green Hills County Pre-Searing. lol Anyway, my main and most favorite character is a beastmaster ranger. When pet dyes arrive, my Stalker is going to be black faster than most people can log on.

EDIT: Uploaded to DA so one doesn't have to be logged in to view the image... I hate having to log in just to look at sutff, so I thought I might as well be courteous.

I'm Surprised no ones responded to this wonderful piece of art >_<
You really deserve more credit than an empty thread for your talent. Well done! >_> It doesnt really look like a stalker (Aside from the fact its black and *cough* looks like a domestic house pet) but Still! Its very well done. Keep it up.

ravenna! i was with you when we did Hell's Precipice (i was using Annabelle Dwyndel).
i remember your pet tanking about 5 fists of the titans at one point... it was impressive. i actually tried making a beastmaster ranger because of that, i never told you... she's a level 20 r/n now and currently using curses, wilderness survival, expertise and marksmanship (i am planning on switching back to beastmastery in the near future)
anyway the art is very impressive, keep it up!

Hi!!! lol That was the best PUG I've ever been in; it's awesome to know you're around the forums too! You'll be happy to know I still treasure the pet, and it's so much stronger now that it's gotten the nice 20AL boost with that last patch. I run around the desert soloing with it all the time now.
Also, I fixed some minor issues with the pic that were bothering me, mainly the bone structure of the kitty's skull. Much better now that it's more like a panther, rather than... a house cat...

you know that in the wpe, pets (that time we only have lynx) used to be naturally colored. so you could choose charming a pink, blue, yellow, black pet

i never knew how much you adored the beastmaster build. explains why you were so sad about your missing kitty after the cutscene (it's funny i still remember every second of that mission with our PUG). soloing the desert with your pet you say??? i'm gonna go catch me a bear and revive my beastmaster build
but getting back on topic, i hope i see more art from you. i'm jealous that you have attained such a talent
P.S. i thought the overgrown house cat was rather cute

Oh man, duckman! I wish I could have been there... I probably would have captured the first pet I saw, then freaked out when I found out I could have gotten a black one instead. lol I do hope they go back to allowing some choice in pet appearance, whether at the capturing stage or later on.

Thank you. I haven't done any artwork for fun in a long, long time, since I'm currently going to school for animation. x_x I love art 'n all, but when you have to sit down and dish out x drawings an hour it gets old real fast. Being able to sit down and paint something was quite refreshing. ...or well, paint something more than a background for some animated frames.
