i think my download got messed up. all it does is play a song and make some swirly shapes when i try to play it. help?

get the codecs tommy, you big noob.
 I dunno what codecs you need. Just get random packs like divx and such at like download.com or search google.

if you hear sound, but see visualizations, you don't have the proper video codec pack. Its just video encoding, so you need different codecs depending on how the video was encoded. Just search download.com or google for codec packs and get whatever you can. Eventually, you'll find the right ones.
