[Video] Servants of Fortuna
Here's a video we made in celebration of Anet choosing us for gotw. Some of my older videos are there too.

No replies?!?! Wow... does anyone haunt these halls anymore?
What a showing! I think I may just have to watch it several more times... Job well done. You passed with flying colors!
Yes, I am somewhat biased to it all! Praise Fortuna!

I checked out your site, and will get the videos (I get any GW videos )
By the way... your Fragility Mesmer in your Builds Directory sucks - that's not the way to do it at all (pre-fix)

Like most builds listed on our site, it's an exercise. Use it, find the flaw, fix it. "Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he'll eat for a lifetime."

Oh, obviously you don't use it - why would you post a build on a public site that works and is successful?
My guild was the guild that perfected that build. We ran the 8 man Me/N in GvG, and had so many wins it isn't funny. We had 30 consecutive wins in Arenas daily, with 4 Me/N. I don't mean to brag, but we pwned. I earned over 100,000 faction with that build alone.
The reason I said what I did was because that isn't the way to do it at all. Ofcourse you knew that, especially if you tried it. Ofcourse Fragility was nerfed, so it doesn't work quite the same anymore (we used to be able to take out a full 8 man team in seconds, no matter what they were). We tweaked it a bit, and we can get it going, but it's lost it's excitement. Like everything, ANet nerfed something that worked. It wasn't being exploited at all, it was just the right skills in the right order. Noone used it in a full team like us... but someone obviously let it known that it was happening, and decided it was too good (there are good counters).

We have been under great pressure to update our site before the GotW feature would come. The article has been resceduled to appear earlier then first planned. I will speak from personal view that it was quite a challenge. And quite a few players of SoF have jobs, don't forget this.
Many things have been done very carefully, some parts may not be what everyone hoped for. I'm pretty sure a reasonable good guild (and I 'm pretty sure TOK is allright, i've visited your website a few times) will know how to play Fragil and won't need our info on fragil anyway. you can say it is targeted at newer players. And from that point of view I can only agree with FrogDevourer: it would be good if they fail a few times, to get those brains working. Maybe it will get more attention in the future, maybe not. We'll see.
Thanks for your remark.

I think it would more be the general feeling of 'meh. Fragility is so *beep*' from Random or Team Arena; then someone blabbing on your gvg team. After all, it wasn't really exploited as you say.
kind regards,
Makk.

Thankyou for your kind remarks
You almost sound offended. I meant nothing by what I posted, was merely picking at a nerfed build on your site. I probably shouldn't of - I'm tired, and a little aggrivated at other things. Bad excuses I know...

That's awkward. The download sites takes me thru an ad, to this countdown. When I click the link after the countdown, it takes me thru another ad, to ANOTHER countdown.
...wtf, and yet ANOTHER countdown.

Good, good. Then give useful details about your pwning build, or simply explain the skill core you used, or even post a reference link. It would be the best way to help the community. No offense intended, but talking about an off-topic super secret perfect build in this video thread does sound like bragging.
In short, our build page is obviously not for PvP experts. Like the rest of the site, the main purpose is to provide a base material to the beginner/average player, and to let them improve this tutorial build.
I won't highjack Quartet's video thread any longer. If you want to discuss your frag build, please create a new thread in the build directory.

The host is not the best out there, but the video is well worth it.

Sorry about the host. We are looking to try and host the file on our own server (bandwidth permitting) but if anyone has any suggestions on a good and free host I'd be glad to hear it.

i know when i went to download it i went through one ad.. took like 5 seconds, then to a countdown which took30 or so seconds, then i immediatly downloaded it took about 5 mins, this was after sitting for like 20 on you send it trying...
so yea it's not the best host, but i think it really depends on how many people are in que for download how long/many countdowns you get.. but like quartet said, we're looking for a new host
dont let filefactory prevent you from watching this.. quartet did a phenominal job, it's such a great video....
think it's all worth it just to watch cyr and ibs' lil scene

We are aware that this host is *crap*. We'll be looking for a different hoster. our apologies for the inconvenience.
as for the current host:
after clicking on link from sof-guild.com:
first screen scroll down. there is a link to the second screen, you may have to wait a few secs, then the link will appear at the bottom
second screen appears, around 40 secs waiting firs, then link will appear to third screen.
third screen has the download links.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
i know. it's userunfriendly. we'll get another host.

I don't have problems with the links and everything, but when I click on the actual link to download, it says something to the effect of "The document is empty."

A much better link...and a very nice movie too, I might add. It must have taken quite some planning.
