Just wanted to remind all of you about the Guild Wars Guru Contest, as we have a specific category for Artwork, and I've seen some fabulous items come out of this forum.

You have the chance at winning an Atari Flashback 2.0, a very cool system with 40 classic games on it.

Guild Wars Art can include character drawings, wallpapers, comics, graphics, or anything you can set your creative mind to doing in an original piece. We are judging the art on creativity, style, and theme.

So, by original...I'm reading that to mean not derived from any screenshots? Technically, most of the stuff I do is from screenshots, which of course is original art by ANet...

We will certainly accept work such as screenshot manipulation. Technically, a wallpaper is just Screenshot manipulation

The reasons for stating it as we did, is the worry that we would have 'just' screenshots submitted. Or someone ripping off another's work from DeviantArt, etc. The work you do with the panoramic's would certainly qualify. As would wallpapers or graphics people do with in-game shots.
