Curse

As some of you could tell from the title, this is a dedication to the prince of persia trilogy's third game, The Two Thrones, which I'm currently playing:

One prince, two souls
three stories thrice told
From the seas to babylon
all the signs are forgone

Once again the sands
shifting, swirling, over the lands
Lessons not learned
Redemption must be earned

Once again the good prince
Twice again the bad menace
Must set off to save their dreamland
For if they fail, desolate wasteland

The vizier commands again
Prince defeats old henchmen
The tale twists darker with a chill
as time is forced to a standstill

As time is warped to assume
That which was never yours
The kingdom enveloped by gloom
As you seek to quench the wars..

You are the Prince of Persia
Forced to make amends
You are the Dark Lord
Damned to meet old ends

Which will you be?
Adept at Ruthless hacking?
Or will you see..
Benelovence in Ruling?

i haven't played prince of persia. but the poem is a nice tribute outlining the story and highlighting the time warp aspect of the game.
