When they first entered the Tombs, the Ghostly Heroes had told them they would be first doing practice duels/challenges within their own groups, aided by an Ancient Spirit. They had done a few duels, a fight challenge, a speed challenge, and a power challenge. They had all done Ok, though Symeon was slightly disappointed with his result in the power test.

But now, they heard a Ghostly Hero bellow: 'ALL ADVENTURERS MAKE YOUR WAY TO THE MAIN HALL, WHERE YOU WILL ENTER THE PROPER CHALLENGES AGAINST FOES FROM THE PARALLEL TYRIA'S!'

And so they all made their way to the main hall, where they met all the other groups, and organised themselves ready to enter the real challenges.
And with a sudden flash of golden light, the doors opened and the groups stepped forward into separate corridors.
'Let's go,' said Jack, leading the way.

As a group they headed along the corridor, which led onto a raised stone platform above a long hall.
They looked down from the platform, and could see down below an area, with two sides and a bridge going across a large gap that looked to go down forever. For now they could see nothing more.
And then the platform started moving downwards.

When they arrived at the bottom of the hall, they found an Ancient Spirit waiting for them.
'I will tell you only this,' he said to them. 'You will not win this challenge by fighting. There is a time limit, until the blue flame in this cup -(he pointed to a golden cup next to the wall)- burns out. This will be several minutes. You may not and cannot put it out manually, nor can you continue its duration. Your parallel foes will come from the other side. Now, on this bridge will appear green flames in silver cups. The victory objective is simple to say: return 5 of these green flame cups and place them around your blue flame cup. If neither side manages this in the time limit, there will be a sudden situation - simply, the first side to take the next green flame cup to their blue flame cup will win. There will be no resurrection, but killing all the foes will not mean victory - you will still have to bring all the green flames to your blue flame, under the opposition of some enemies we shall throw in. One final thing - the green flame cups will take damage, and a certain amount of damage will destroy one and its flame. Now, prepare, the challenge will now begin.'

At that time they noticed the other team, from the parallel Tyria, on the other side with their Ancient Spirit. They looked normal. Symeon was thinking of all the others of their 100 groups that would be doing this exact same challenge in a hall that would be the same. Jack had said these parallel foes came here expecting a normal fight - Symeon hoped he was right, because that would mean they had an advantage. Even now, he could see the enemy team looking confused.

And the challenge began.

Let me take care of this Baltimore said with a grin on his face these golems might come in handy.
A few enchantments and the eyes of the golems/giants turned light green under the power of baltimore. So whe got ourselfs some siege weaponry boys lets not wait but continue if whe go fast whe whill be at the HoH before the humans.

And so they ran forward the undead legion the 3 siege giants and ofcourse Kruyol and Baltimore after a few hours they saw some lights and a giant door.
There is the Hall of Heroes my companions whe need to set our camp infront of the giant door Baltimore shouted.
And so the undead legion set up a camp on the foot of the stairs that led to the Hall of Heroes.
Balti: i am going to get us some more minions wait here.

Baltimore walked up the stairs and entered the Hall of Heroes when he got inside he got grabbed by an army of ancient spirits.

Ancient spirit: What brings you here Undead Warlord?
balti: Please says Baltimore i have come here to warn you for great danger.
Anc Spirit: What Dangers baltimore and why should whe trust somebody like you a vile undead.
Balti: Muhahaha il tell you this when the humans get here they whill kill your king and take the powers that are hidden in this palace I and my Legion are here to prevent this the fate of Tyria depends on it.
Anc Spirit: Is that so give me proof?
Balti: I am the living errrr undead proof those humans left me for dead in Cantha they didnt need me annymore and now i am here more powerfull then ever before, is that enough proof they are traitors Vile servants of unseen gods.
Anc Spirit: Dont say more get your undead army in here whe start defending the Hall at once.
balti: I whill get half of my army here the rest whill try to kill them outside.

and so half of the legion of undead whent into the Hall of Heroes and so did Kruyol the most mighty undead warlord.
And now my army wait for the humans to arive when the siege golems stomp on the ground 3 times the humans shall be here but for now rest my undead rest like you have never rested before you are gonna need it....

Sorry for double post... I began wriiting the post above before you posted

not to plan ahead, but I was thinking...will you become good again? Will we defeat you and you aid us in the bigger fight against the Conquerors?

IC: Jack was rushing towards the first green cup being a W/Mo he was good at running.

Meanwhile....

Lightening Demon: Jonare these undead are getting stronger

Jonare: WHAT! I thought they were goen for good when the choosen defeated the lich!

Demon: No they are drawing power from these grenth temples arcoss the land.

Jonare paused then thought up a plan.

Jonare: How many of these Temples are in Cantha

Demon: About 3 or 4

Jonare: Go to them and completely destoy them!

Demon: Yes sir

They started towards the temple in the town of Mortala.

Ghoul: AAAAAa Lightening demons

Undead Horseman: Fight them AAaaAAA

Jonare: AHAHAHA fouls you can not defeat us!

Smoke demon: Lightening can't hurt AAAAa

The last of the undead were finished.

Jonare: Now to deal with the temple

Jonare shoot lightening bolts from with staff. It hit the temple and started to slowly ructure it. Then it exploded and the Grenth staque inside was desicrated.

At the next temple.....

A few Ghouls died instantly

Undead Horseman: Did you see that?

Smoke Phaton: Ya where were those ghouls from?

Undead Horseman: The temple at Mortala

Smoke Phatom: then something must of happened there

Undead Horseman: What about the Conquerers

Smoke Phatom: But they don't Destoy Temples just the people in them

Undead Horseman: Unless they figured out our weakness

Smoke Phatom: Lets hope this is the only time this happens.

Back at Jonare....

Jonare: Send word to the attack squads at Tiria to attack all undead temples

Demon: Yes Sir.

He shoot bolts of lightening which hit other squads and was decoded into a message.

Jonare: If these undead honestly think they can defeat a race which has conquered every single place it has been into.....

Demon: What about that one world.....

Jonare: (shakes with anger) HOW DARE YOU BRING THAT WORLD UP!!!

Demon: I'm sorry its just they beat us because we underestimated them and I don't want to repeat that.

Jonare: You may be right but it took all of they're remaining creatures and a lot of effort to defeat us

Demon: They might do so..

Jonare: (Evil Laugh) These creatures are STILL fighting even with our threat they pose no problem!

Demon: Very well great one

I can feel that the temples at Cantha have fallen the city is starting to get rebuild whe must do something before it is too late Baltimore said.

Balti: Let the temples be for what they are il get there personal after this battle has been fought haha for now try to get some reinforments at the temples in Tyria so they wont get attacked.
Le Viud: il do that right away sir.

And so Le Viud ran off towards the portal.
Hmmm i have the strange feeling that something strange is gonna happen verry soon those that destroyed our temples they must be abominations from Grenth it cant be annything else only Demons and wicked beasts can destroy the Temples of Grenth and Grenth is the one who made those creatures i really need to get to the bottom of this after this battle.
Win or loss i wont fail in protecting my god/Grandpa.
Hmmm its getting late i am going to get some rest....

OOC: I have never been to Tombs/HoH etc so I feel a little inadaquate to the task of writing about it.......Love the story so far though. Just have your way with me (within reason) and I'll pick up when I feel more comfortable. *Grabs popcorn and settles in for a good read*

edit: I especially like the part where Anna beats everyone in the strength contest

The group moved forward swiftly, Jack being first as a W/Mo because he would be the best runner. Symeon, Anna and Xanthos advanced behind him. Eric and Verisy Maslon, the other monk in the group that they had nearly forgotten about, stood ready to heal. Puo-Hin the elementalist prepared to cast various slowing and knockdown damage spells. Inf pulled the first arrow from his quiver, and fired straight over the enemy warriors' heads to hit one of the monks, who had a split second earlier begun to cast a protection spell.
Wham. Concussion Shot. The enemy monk was dazed.

'Charge!' shouted Jack, and all four of the melee fighters ran forward at the same time as the enemy. Jack grabbed the green flame cup in the centre of the bridge before the enemy could, and turned to make his way back. An enemy ranger fired a shot to pin down Jack, but Anna saw it and swung her sword up to hit the arrow perfectly over the side of the bridge, down into the dark depths.

Symeon moved forward, and brought on the power of the tiger. He battled the enemy warriors, who seemed to turn from him to the others. Symeon noticed the enemy elementalist had used a blinding spell on Xanthos, so he charged through, seeing that Anna was handling the warriors just fine. He interrupted the elementalist attempting to use Blinding Flash on him, and once again brought Tiger's Fury on, severely damaging the elementalist. What was more, Inf was doing a great job of interrupting the only monk the enemy had. The elementalist came down just as Jack, who had not been slowed down at all, reached the blue flame cup and placed the green flame cup beside it. A new one appeared, and the enemy warrior grabbed it. Inf used Pin Down on him swiftly, then returned to targeting the monk. Anna, Symeon and Xanthos began to pummel the carrying warrior, while Puo-Hin 'spammed' low-cost damage spells. The warrior and the cup fell to the floor, and Jack grabbed the next cup.

Eventually, as well as Jack carrying all the cups, they managed to kill all the enemies, and there was no resurrecting. But then, as the Ancient Spirit had said, new enemies came. Elonian fighters, who had been recently returned to their bodies by scientists in the Crystal Desert. Of all professions, they charged in. But they were too late. Just as they came, Jack took the final cup, and the group moved forward to protect his back. The final cup was placed, and the Ancient Spirit emerged from the side.
'This team has won the challenge, and will move on to the next!'

They made their way across the bridge and along the corridor, supposedly like nearly all the other teams, congratulating and complimenting each other.
'Great healing, Eric.'
'What I do best.'
'Good pummeling, I say, warriors.'
'Hey, great work Inf.'
'Well fought, Puo-Hin.'

And they reached another stone platform, looking down into another hall.
It was the speed challenge.

OOC: Come on, someone do it. This isn't normal Tombs, you can make it up, it's some kind of speed/timed challenge across a course, obstacles, enemies, surprises, etc.

I simply open My Computer/C:/Program Files/Guild Wars/Screens and select the screenshot. It uploads it on Microsoft Picture Manager. I then click Edit Pictures, Resize, then select predefined, and 'Web Large'. This is about 800 and something kilobytes...it could be made bigger using the percentage size increase, but I usually don't bother. I then go on www.imageshack.us, upload the file, and post the thumbnail on the forum which when clicked loads the larger image.
