Gotta have a Monk!
"Off all the confounded thankless souls" mutters Rial to herself as she walks through LA's gates. She had just finished helping a group of wanna be Warriors fight their way to Lion's Arch, and she was tired, she was grumpy and she wanted a warm bed. She quickly nodes to Lisa, a healer like herself, but for hire.
Walking lightly towards the center of town in search of a bed, she notices the Lion Guards hurrying towards a crowd. Her training kicking in, she smells the blood, feels the tension..."dang it!" Rial swears, "I thought i'd find some rest", as she trails after them.
Upon reaching the scene, she realizes that there isn't much for her to do. She had just barely enough energy for a Orison and a resurrection was currently beyond her, and even if she could, the body looked like it had been dead awhile.
Looking around her, she notices the inn, the door slighly a jar...just her luck!! A bed!!. However, as she enters the Inn, she is immediatly put on her guard!! A pale necro struggling with a Stalker, another necro at the bar, defiance in her stance, a Warrior whose eyes were beginning to glaze and running down the stairs an elemental..."screaming".
"whom to help? is help needed!", she thinks to herself, as she quickly switches icon to give her a lil energy boost. And all she wanted was a bed, but it looks like it's going to be a long night.

I'll continue here, in if no one minds...
-------------------------------
From her perch on the stairs, Crow fired a fireball at the necromancer killing her Stalker.
"Touch my cat again and I'll do more than a mere fireball." She said, glaring down at him. "Gari, come."
With this she walked up the sairs, Garion trotting behind her obediently. She locked him back in her room, going again out the window.
She went back to the Firstwatch's corpse. The crowd had now thinned, only small groups of people here and there pointing and whispering about her remained. She steadied her grip on her hilt, knowing she would use it if she had to. Some of the Liongaurds spotted her and walked her way.
"Miss, we'd like to ask you some questions." One said, taking out a rough pad and pencil.
"I'm sorry officiers, but I saw nothing." She said, turning away back towards the inn.
Another Liongaurd grabbed her shoulder. She supun around and pointed her sword between his eyes. "Touch me again, and I'll bleed you out like your Firstwatch there." She lowered her blade and turned back toward the Lucky Shoe.

The brisk smell of the wind and dead fish clung to TK Hawkins' cape. The salty air stung his eyes and the constant rocking of the boat made him nauseous. The trials he went through to get to and from his guild hall. TK had worked with a small Lion’s Arch based guild for some time now. How much they actually contributed to the war effort was minimal. Mostly, their job was to provide defense in the area from indigenous life. Thos Ettins are getting bigger every year. There must be something in the water, thought TK.
With a thud, the ship’s anchor was dropped. With a strong desire for solid footing, TK jumped from the deck of the ship and onto the dock. As he landed, miraculously on both his feet, the plank his right foot was on cracked, most likely weakened from his impact on it. Grateful he was still wearing his elementalist leggings, TK pulled his right leg out of the hole that had been created. He carefully removed the splitters from the tough fabric by creating a bit of static electricity between his leg and his gloves, which sort of sucked the wood right out of his leg. “Solid footing indeed,” muttered TK miserably.
TK began to walk with a slight limp. His bad left knee must not have liked that little jump. Well, he never had much patience anyway. TK pulled out his mesmer cane and began to use that to steady himself. Ahead, TK saw two Lionguards starring at the backside of a girl dressed in black. They were standing over something. Curious, TK hobbled forward.

Shashiya walked to the end of the corridor on the second floor, and looked out of the window. Straight out of it she could see the murder scene. There were now hardly any people there except for the Lionguards. There were some officials with the notorious orange notepads used for all legal matters in Kryta. They were questioning various people still there, and leading them off to somewhere. Shashiya assumed they were taking them to the courthouse, and most of the others were already there.
And she saw the woman, Crow, being approached by two officials. Looking closer, she saw Crow say something and turn away, only to be grabbed on the shoulder by one of the Lionguards. She spun around, drew a sword, and said something in a threatening way, then made her way into the Inn.
Several of the officials and Lionguards watched her go. Shashiya carried on watching. She wanted to hear what they were saying, so as carefully as she could, she lifted the window up a few inches and poked her ear through it.
'We have to get her.'
'She looked like she'd fight.'
'I saw several other people in that Inn. They must be trying to hide there from questioning.'
'Yes, we must -'
But Shashiya was already darting along the corridor. She ran down two flights of stairs, past all the other people who looked bewildered, and slammed herself into the front door, pulling across all three of its locking bolts. She then turned to the others.
'They're coming,' she panted. 'They know we're here, hiding from questioning, they're coming to get us...'
The warrior Marik broke off a table leg from a bar table, to the acute anger of the Innkeeper, and put it through the same holders that the locks were in, barring it across the door. Shashiya stepped aside.
'Let's go,' said Crow. And at that moment, they heard the Lionguard talking outside. All the people in the Inn, including the Innkeeper, rushed into Crow's room, and she opened the window. They could hear the cursing of the people at the door, and then banging and crashing as they tried to smash it. Crow jumped down onto the wall first, then the others followed. The Stalker was the last to come.
'Quick,' whispered Crow, and they all jumped down off the wall and followed her, only thinking of escaping what they had brought on themselves.

Standing on the window's ledge just about to make the leap, Rial thought to herself "just what am i supposed to be running from?".
Rial hadn't been in the Inn but 5 min when the Necro girl, who had disappeared upstairs behind the elemental, came rushing down and barring the front door. There was a frenzy of breaking tables and all of a sudden she and the rest of the motly crew, were being ushered to an upstairs bedroom and through a window.
Landing on the soft but deserted ground below, Rial did a quick inventory check. Her energy, periously low earlier had ebbed its way back to more than half, she still had her various chest keys hanging off her blue dyed leather belt, her linen throwsers were a lil worn for the wear but still blue in the moon light, and most of all, she still had her money belt, after all she thought "i've heard I can get better armour in Lion's Arch"...*if she survived this lil escapade* she added with a sigh!.

Vanatiel
"Plague Touch"
"Get your hands off of me" Vanatiel growled to the lionguard officials in front of him. Vanatiel was sitting against the wall, bleeding. The right side of his neck was torn, and blood was flowing through it. The necromancer was mad, very mad indeed.
One lionguard, a very tall man clothed in the usual official armour, was trying to pull Vanatiel up from his position to no avail. The necromancer was grounded firmly on the ground and barked threats at anyone who came close. Although the necromancer had a very threatening voice, his current state surely left him weak. Bleeding on the ground, he could hardly prove a threat to anyone.
"If you resist us taking you into custody, we will have to take the standard action." the tall officer said, kneeling down in front of the necromancer.
Vanatiel snickered and spit in his face. "Let's see you try."
The lionguard offical let out a cry of fury and raised his hand to strike the defiant necromancer. But the hand didn't strike. The lionguard froze in mid-blow, his eyes wide open in disbelief. Looking down, he saw that Vanatiel had lifted him up off the ground by his neck. The necromancer had somehow stood up, and picked him up by his neck like a rag-doll.
Suddenly, red blood trickled from the lionguards neck, where Vanatiel's fingers were. Just as the first drop of blood hit the ground, Vanatiel's own bloodied gash on his neck disappeared.
Vanatiel smiled. "Plague Touch. Enjoy."
The necromancer dropped the now bleeding officer onto the ground.
Vanatiel's eyes glowed with bloodlust.
"Now who's next?" he whispered.
---------------------
Vanatiel PT. II
"Delay"
Vanatiel kicked the inn's door out, not bothering to open it. The necromancer felt great. His energy had regained, and his health was back to it's usual status. He was no longer suffering any conditions, and felt light-hearted and happy. Of course, the necromancer had a little bit of...help...in order to do all of these things.
The five corpses in the bar were completely stripped clean. Vanatiel had taken each one of the lionguards blood in order to regain his own lost blood, then proceeded to cast well of blood upon the lionguard leader. After doing so, he sat down on the corpse, and proceeded to raise four bone fiends. Vanatiel didn't bother hiding the corpses, they were already rotting anyways.
Vanatiel whistled as he walked down the path from the inn. It was daytime now, and the sun was up in the sky. Vanatiel strolled down merilly, whistling in tune to a necrotic song he learned long ago.
Suddenly he stopped.
His eyes changed color, to a dark yellow with a red tint.
"Crow..." he whispered.
His four fangs extended and his eyes lightened.
Vanatiel could sense blood everywhere. Every human had blood within them, which indentified them individually. Vanatiel could easily identify humans by blood taste...but he didn't have Crow's blood sample. He'd just have to rely on vampiric instincts for this one.
Vanatiel turned.
"Come along my friends...we have to go visit someone." he whispered.
The four bone fiends emerged from their hiding places, tails moving eagerly.
They could sense their master's bloodlust and fury.
Vanatiel turned back again, and started walking towards the closest human to him.
Interrogation was always a fun process.
His army could wait for now.

Ducking from shadow to shadow, Rial swears to herself. She then tarries a little and runs back to see if she can spot the Inn. With a quick look, she notices that the guards have made it inside. They were currently talking, if rather forcefully (although she couldn't hear, being too far), at the most undesirable looking male necro sprawled on the floor. "Guess I'm not needed here", Rial thinks and quickly jogs back towards the others.
As she jogs back towards the group, she notices a man limping towards the Inn! Squashing her innate need to heal, "I've already got enough to worry about", she groans, and quickly rushes past him.
"With the way these folks were acting, I'm better off saving my energy", she mutters again to herself, as she catches up with the groups, slipping into the nearby woods.
"I'm Rial Hila, a healer by way of Ascalon", Rial whispers, in the hopes of trying to figure things out, "So who's the dead guy in front of the Inn?" she adds.

TK turned his back on the inn, and for a few minutes tried to do something for his knee. Discontent with his failed attempts at playing doctor, TK decided that the best thing to do would be to get some bed rest. Some ale and a long nap could do wonders for the body. Getting up, TK slowly clawed his way up the limestone steps. His heart sank when his nose detected a new scent. TK had thought nothing was as bad as dead fish. Yet this was clearly worse. Looking down, TK saw the body of the Firstwatch. He had clearly been dead for about a half hour, judging from the smell. Careful to not get his feet covered in blood, TK walked around the body towards the inn.
The solid oak door was off its hinges as TK approached. The candles in the foyer of the inn had gone out. There were no eastward facing windows, so it was fairly dark in the room. TK wondered if the innkeeper was still around. A tentative “Hello” got no response. As his eyes adjusted to the darkness, TK could make out some chairs and a table. TK began to weave his way through the room, careful to avoid hitting his bad knee. TK’s foot hit something. Looking down, he let out a gasp.
All around him were the bodies of members of the Lionguard. Their bodies had been ripped apart from the inside. Blood was everywhere. TK gingerly reached down and touched the cheek of the dead man closest to him. He was still warm! The back of TK’s neck prickled, and suddenly the room felt a lot colder and darker.

Jay the Jake Wandering Ranger
OOC= Great story would like to be 8th if thats alright....
"Just afew minutes more and we will be there Girl." Jake said to his Lynx companion. Thankfully he remarked under his breath. The smell of the swamp he had spent the last week in omitting from his armor. Dang skales well there will be afew less bothering the people of this area thanks to Girl and him. His backpack and bags full of trophies and his stomach empty he was looking forward to a nice meal and rest. But first to the armorer to trade in these trophies from his hard work and a new set of leathers. Firstwatch Morgin would be pleased with his report. It will have to wait till tomorrow morning though, now all Jake could think about was fresh food and sleep in a nice bed. Not the slimmy ground, leaning against a moss covered tree and the berries he had lived off of the last few days.
As Jake approached town he caught a familiar smell in the air. DEATH! Jake was all to familiar with that smell. As he came out of the woods he saw members of the Lionsguard talking to people in small groups. One of the members approached him in a superior manner.
"Hey you ranger come here!"
Muscles tensed in Jakes neck, though he was new to the area and Firstwatch Morgin was polite in asking him to assist with clearing the swamp of the Bog problem. Jake had yet to meet a member of the Lionsguard other than him that he liked. "Yes." said Jake as his Lynx eyed the guard through squinted eyes.
" I want to question you regarding the murder tonight."
"What murder? Look I just came from the swamps doing what personally should have been your job in the first place. Hungry tired and dirty I am. So let me by and get on with whatever you were doing." said Jake in as much a loathing manner as he could muster.
As Jake continued to walk on by the guard he was suddenly grabbed by the shoulder and spun around. This action caused his vampiric bow to twist cutting his neck with the string. Before Jake could loosen the hold on his shoulder, Girl sprung into action. Like a flash Girl was on the Lionsguard, knocking him to the ground. As he fell the guard lost his grip on the ranger. Quickly Jake commanded Girl off the guard and stepped in front of her as the guard jumped to his feet.
" You and your animal will come with me. Firstwatch Morgin has been murdered tonight. He has damage to his body that looks like it was done by an animal and penetrating wounds all over his body. Your animal will be quarantined and you.. ranger will be held for questioning. Give me your weapons and if your beast." the guard said distastefully "will behave itself or I will happily put it to death myself."
Rage welled up inside Jake, no one but no one touched Girl. Without thinking Jake struck the guard knocking him to the ground. Yells came from the area of the Inn, looking up Jake saw more Lionsguards running towards him weapons drawn.
"RUN Girl!" shouted Jake as he spun around and headed back towards the woods. Hot bath and food was all I wanted thought Jake. Why did I even come to this corrupted place thought Jake as he and girl entered the treeline. Within minutes Jake and Girl were well into the woods, guardsmen could be hear in the distance their sounds fading.
No one not even a local could track Jake in his eliminate. And Jakes eliminate was here in the colors of nature. "easy Girl lets rest for a minute." Jake said as he sat down leaning against a tree. Girl prowled around not yet as confident as her master that the coast was truly clear.
As Jake was reaching into one of his bags for some dried meat Girl and him jerked up as human noises pierced the quiet of the woods they were resting in. Jake slowly rose and looked in the direction of the noise. Just as he was pulling a bow out female voices came through the trees.
Jake couldnt make out the words but it sounded like the people didnt much care for the Lionsguard either from the tone of their voices. Jake sat back down, whispering calming words to Girl. Not sure whats going on here, but I bet this group can fill him in. But can I trust them Jake wasnt sure of yet . "Girl, lets follow these people quietly and see if we can find out what is going on." Girl looked up at her master approvingly.

"Just cause i'm 5'3"", blonde and have blue tats all over my upper body", Rial grumbles to herself, since just about everyone but the Stalker was ignoring her. The Stalker to Rial's horror kept sniffing her. *OH FOR A HOT BATH!* she moans
She was trailing after the group as they made there way further into the woods. They had to hurry, shouts were coming from Lions Arch. LionGuards shouting and chasing someone or something. "Maybe, they had found the murderer after all", Rial hoped, as she gingerly avoided yet, another mud patch.
Walking lighting over branches and twigs, dodging limbs and brush, Rial was at home in the woods, having just spent the last week getting to Lion's Arch. However, this group was just as a bad as her ealier crew, they weren't exactly blending, except maybe, surprisingly enough, for the elemental, if she weren't looking for her, she swore she'd just disappear into the trees. *I think she said her name was "Crow"*, she mused, figures, she had a Stalker as a pet.
