Good one. It is kind of ironic that with most of the female chars, the skimpier the outfit, the better the armor.

Not really, each armor has a trade off. Warrior plate mail has more armor, but galidiator (which is the one worn) has more energy. Ranger studded leather (which is worn) protects against lightning, basic leather (at least in my observations) has protection against physical damage, druid armor has more energy.
But let's face it, if your a guy playing a female it is for the eye candy. Now if there was some sort of gender advantage, that would be different. Such as, male attacks hit harder and female attacks hit faster (agility), that would be different.

Actually, my warrior is female because I knew the build would usually be wearing Gladiator's for the Energy, and I wasn't going to have a character in male Gladiator's (as a previous poster mentioned, it's harmful to the eyes). I'm personally not too fond of the idea of 'skimpy' armours ("Yes! I'm going to go fight vicious monsters, but I'm going to leave my midriff bare so I can distract any of my male companions as well! Until my insufficiently-armoured flesh gets ripped and shred beyond all recognition of course!") - I'm seriously considering FoW gladiators (as a VERY long-term objective) so I can get the benefit of the armour type without looking more like a ceremonial harem guard than a combat-ready soldier.
The problem is that even with the armour boost, the other armours don't provide a clear advantage in protection against Gladiator's. Yes, 85+10 is better against more opponents than 80+20, but Gladiator's still provides better protection against about one third of attacks than Wyvern's while adding about a third in total to your energy pool to boot.
I will admit that my Mesmer is female for the eye candy, but I will point out that I use a Courtly torso instead of an Enchanters...
Going back on topic, I guess my point is: I approve of the moral of this comic . Keep up the good work!
