Journey of a Lost Girl - The Story Behind the Lies
OOC: You may have read the bio's of Alicia Stormcrow before, but this is her TRUE story, uncut, unedited, and no lies this time. Please post your comments, and I'll continue!
------------------------------------------
Part One - The Happy Home
"Shhh. Quiet now." A soothing voice came from above her as a calm hand was placed on her head. She looked up to a tall man with a muscular build. Although he was not training, he had let her come along on a leisurely skale-slaying afternoon. "Stay here, just watch. I don't want you getting hurt, now."
"Okay, Daddy." she said, running to behind a tree, kicking her heels up happily.
She watched as her father easily cut through the skales that were making a nuiscance around their home and garden. Her little sister wasn't yet old enough to come along, besides the fact that she was talkative, as most her age were.
After killing the Brood, her father returned, and told her to go get some water from the waterfall so Mommy could boil some potatoes for supper. She ran back to the small bridge she had helped build a few years before and gathered up a small bucket and her hat, perching it upon her head.
She was just a few minuets after her father getting home and she placed her bucket on the table, hugging her mother, and running off to play with her little sister.
She walked into her room, throwing her sunhat on her bed and going to greet her sister, her little blonde pigtails bouncing off her back.
"Licia!!" the little brunette yelled as she saw her sister. She ran up to her and jumped into her arms. Alicia laughed joyfulled as she squeezed her little sister. "It's good to see you again too, Duney." she said, rubbing her sisters back.
"C'mon Licia! I wanna show you my drawings!" she said as she was placed back on the floor. She pulled her big sister along, eager to share her creative capability. After the drawings had been shared, their mother called them out for dinner.
Some of the skale meat had been baked and potatoes boiled. Her father was the first to speak among the four.
"So Licia. Your birthday's next month, what do you want this year?"
Alicia's eyes brightened at the sund of 'birthday' and a plan emerged in her mind. "Could I get a new wand?" she asked looking back from her mother to her father.
"We might be able to do that." her mother said, swallowing a bit of skale.
"Oh, Liss, don't tell her that!" her father said. "Of course we can get you one!"
"Don't get her hopes up now Dirk. We don't know that we'll be able to get her one."
"Enough! We'll talk about it later." he spoke up, putting half a medium sized potato in his mouth.

Maybe this is just me but that description strikes me as a little too quantitative.

The good people of Lyssa's Fiction have waited LONG ENOUGH!! I give you, Part Two!
---------------------------------------
Part Two - The Brithday Surprise
Alicia tossed and turned in her bed, for she could not shake the nightmares. Horrible images of lion-like beasts flooded her mind, but finally, a sound reached her ears and woke her.
As she rose from her bed, the sweet smell of honey wafted through the doorway. It almost lifted her off her feet as she followed it to it's source.
The kitchen counters were lined with bags and boxes of ingredients, everything from sugar to Mary Malone's super sweet apples. She only assumed her mother was having another Season of the Phoenix baking fit, but then she remembered what the day was. Fourty-third day, Season of the Phoenix, the sweetest day in the house, and her birthday.
She quickly looked around. No sign of her mother. She snuck up to the oven and gently blew on the iron handle, nearly frosting over the old metal. She opened the door, taking in the wonderful aroma of her mother's honey infused apple cake.
As she turned from the oven, she almost fell back into the hot coals. Everyone from Ashford was there. Little Gwen and her parents, the Malone's, and even Devona, the town gaurd.
The rest of the day was filled with feasting and merrymaking, but when the party was done, and all presents unwrapped, she still wasn't happy.
"Mommy, why didn't Kerk and Rayne come? And what about Aunt San--" but she was interrupted by a loud banging on the front door.
----------------------------------
that's where I'll leave you. In suspense...

Part Three - An Old Friend Returns
Alicia went to the door and opened it a crack. After seeing the man, she whipped the door open and flung herself into his arms. Duney also ran over to greet his large stalker.
"Hey birthday girl!" The man said, squeezing his little sister a little tighter.
"Did Aunt Sandra come too?" She asked as he put her down to hug his stalker, Rayne.
A white light came from the ground and played with her hair, lifting her off the ground and tossing her about. She laughed gleefully as her aunt caught her and greeted her with a light hug.
Her mother came over and hugged her sister. "It's good to see you again, Kay." Sandra said.
Dirk also came over and shook his son's hand, whispering something to him.
"Yes I did. How could I forget?" Kerk said, turning to Alicia and handing her a small package. She looked back and forth between her big brother and the package he had given her, but finally tore off the wrapping.
A wand lay within; small, but just the right size for her hand. The glass on the end was intricately twisted into a flame-like design. The iron rods on the head were gently twisted to form a cage, in which a small enchanted flame grew when she picked it up.
She gawked at the wand for a moment, as if not believing it was real. After a while however, she accepted it's presence and fired a flare at the fireplace, making it burst into flames.
