This was a commission for Ankara Nightsear. Isn't she super groovy? Pen+ink, border added in photoshop.

still can't get over your brilliant perception of the human figure and the way it looks so natural.

Great work!
For constructive criticism as a fellow artist, the angle of the right hand appears a bit unrealistic, but other than that, absolutely flawless, I love your style, and I applaud its un-anime-ness ^.^

Yeah, I had a bit of trouble with the foreshortening of the right hand. x.x Gotta work on that. Yes! It doesn't look very anime-like! Woot. And I'm very glad that you like my humble style. XD

well, the arm is supposed to be bent back a bit, so the hand was supposed to look a bit bigger. But I suppose I screwed up on that. Whoops. It still looks okay, I guess.

I wouldn't say this style is unseen in anime, it just appears very infrequently. I don't have any problems with the pose, although the crop gives the appearance of "leaning" just a bit. I wanna rotate the mat...

Vampire Hunter D~~
The style of her pen and ink is just amazing. It really has the feel of Amano's touch.
I love this ^_^

ah. i get it. seems like about a 165/170 degree angle tilt on the elbo there. well, unless you're seroiusly critiquing it for a competition or something, i really doubt that anybody would mind.
