So anyway, here is my first attempt at the contest "design a weapon"
I really enjoyed making it and would appreciate comments.
I also do requests, well sort of, if you got a really cool idea but can't work it out, you can pass it onto me and I can give a best shot at it. But that's only if I like the idea myself aswell

Some real talent in this thread. Liked a lot. The one that I loved the most was the fisthammer, for pure awesomeness 'clobbering time!' and putting a smirk on my face.

X-Bow Stage 3
Did a lil more moding to my bow. It may not mean much to you all but I've put quite a few hours into it. So some comments would be nice.

Very nice angles on it. The split ends really sets it apart. Have you considered extending the 'split' towards the grip a bit more? Perhaps alot more?

In other words have the spilt start further down into the bow? If so not a bad idea. I'll give it a shot tomorrow after work. Thanks for the comments!

A few ideas...
I have items I would love to see implemented, but I don't have much interest in drawing. So, the artist in lack of inspiration - does this guy really exist ? - might find a source of inspiration from my pitiful ideas :
Bow : A bow made of bones with a skull at the handle point. Arrow shooting through the skull's open jaw. Could be an animal skull.
Axe : A heavily serrated axe.
One-handed sword : A sword without a guard (for a change)
Hammer : A heavy hammer with the smashing end shaped like a ring with iron rods attaching it to the stick.
Shield : A cross shaped shield. (obviously not good against ranged attack !)
Focus Item : A jeweled bird that would stand on a closed fist.
Staff : A long bone. (Presumably from the leg of an exotic creature)
Wand : A charred smoking wand.
I don't take credits for those ideas. Just would like to see what you could come up with.

i know thats old quote but from my understanding it said that it makes no difference it it's hand drawn, black or white or photo shop colored all can win equally. no advantage is given. but i could be wrong

What contest are you talking about.... and what's the deadline?
Xb0vv's got my vote but I'm not sure that kind of detail would be apparent in the GW graphics capability...

Yeah it was a silly idea of mine, an oriental-theme jade blade.

I like that axe single or double bladed MiC. The fact that it can be either without losing visual appeal is fantastic. I don't know if it could be submitted as an either/or entry, but if that gets picked, I'm getting one... especially if they color it right.
EDIT: The lattice work on the head is what I really like. I've had an idea in my head for a bow or an axe like that where it resembles cobwebs, but unfortunately I make the creators of Southpark look like Picasso. That design you have is the closest thing I've seen.

It actually says it has to be postmarked by Dec 21 so you don't need to worry about shipping....
