The art style is good, and the skil is great.. its the subject and the expression that is a bit more troubling....

She have a "French-royalty" type of look.... she is not your cousin, who is also your sister, is she?

better than before...

but I finally figure out what is bothering me.. if you see her eyes.. you will see that is it is not focus.. one puple is going up, another is down..and alone with the "biggerforhead" and the curle up smile... well.. you get my point

Try make the eye more focus, may be give her a lolipop to hold in the mouth, and all should be good.

Something about that pic seems to be a little on the masculine side somehow, can't quite place my finger on it. Maybe the lines, could be made a bit more feminine. That smile looks a bit like a smirk. Not sure what kind of look was being aimed at here

Don't ask me why, but she reminds me of Patrick Swayze. I think the masculine appearance she seems to have comes from her well formed jawline and pronounced brow. I'd give her much a much smoother transition from her forehead to the sides of her head above her brow, get rid of such dark shadows under her eyebrows and that should make her brow a bit more feminine, do the same smoothing out of her jawline and I think she'll be alright.

its true the girl its of could be seen to have a slight masculine face the dark shading is from the harsh lighting used in the model i worked from. i took the jawline comments and thirght about them whilst doing this picture

i dont know whats up with this one, mabey darker shading needed near the edges of the face?

Something I've noticed is it all looks quite "pasty". The darker sort of...awkward green/skin brown you're using for some shadows doesn't come across as shadows, instead it comes across as something like a dirt smudge. Also, the solid black lines of what I'm assuming is your original sketch are left awkwardly around in places, I'd keep your sketch as a seperate layer above your painting so you don't have those black lines ruining the rest of the colored image, then once the painting is finished you should be able to remove the sketch layer and just have your painting. I'd definalely find a new color for your shadows, though. You'll be hard pressed to find a green-brown sort of half opacity shadow against such light skin.
