I suck at art and I'm attempting a course in it XD So I guess talent helps a little, and some practise.

Colour is overrated. It's much better to have a black and white drawing that really contrasts the different shades, has good depth and so forth.

It's less and less guildwars related. Anyway, it's really good, for obvious reasons, but I think for the style you have in drawing armor, and other stuff the characters wear, or decorations, more western comic style faces would work better. The smoothness and emptyness of anime faces feels out of place to me, in the general picture.
Also I agree on the bold lines, mentioned earlier, your line-art is very complicated, but sort of goes to waste because it's smudged out in the shading. Maybe you should consider inking your lines.
Hey didn't know you were here too, takeko

Yes, that is for me the only real issue with the recent ones. That said, your Peorth drawing was really nice in terms of shading, so perhaps you just need to spend a bit more time on them.

If only I could draw as good as you... It doesn't seem possible that a normal human being could draw so well. I can't even draw stick figures properly... seriously. I was once just doodling on the side of my paper and I drew a stick figure for some reason, and my friend looked over and thought it was a char

I have no idea what Manga Pens are, so I can't really say I use them.
I just use regular mechanical pencils and ball point pens.

Even with a quick job, that painting looks extremely good.
[offtopic] Could you make me a pic of a common monster on GW? I'd like to see just one of them [/offtopic]

Which monster?
Because I have a Griffon laying around here SOMEWHERE...
But I can't see the floor in my flat. So it might be a while.

That is very nice for 24 minutes. I like it anyway, but to do it that quickly is class.

Forced perspective would require you to draw the gauntlet larger, based on humerus length.
"Manga" markers like COPIC are wallet busters...nice set could run $150+

The nose can stay if the left eye, jaw, and neckline take proper positions. When the torso and head aren't aligned, the neck must show the transition. Many life drawing students rank the neck as harder to draw than hands and feet.
If you can't take such a class, buy yourself the "Atlas of Human Anatomy for the Artist". I don't endorse any of those "HOW TO DRAW MANGA" books...
