Memories Of 9/11 {poem}
~ ~ ~Memory Of 9/11~ ~ ~
The sun shined like everyday
The skies blue
The streets of New York filled with carefree Americans
Their ignorance truly bliss
Unknown to the events that were to take place
The cheer of innocence
The skies burn!!!
Echoing screams in the streets
Shattered pride
Bloodstain flags wavering half mass
Tears fell from the eyes!!!
Of hurt souls!!!!
American pride dealt a death blow
Silver planes filled with fear and hate
Flew true that day
Their targets met
Their ambitions realized
A burst of flames shattered the mirror of blindness
The two giants crumbling from above. The screams could be felt all through America.
Demon’s face forming in the dark cloud of smoke and death
Hope for life
From a fall form above
Their hopes were
All in vain!!
The skies burn!!!
Echoing screams in the streets
Shattered pride
Bloodstain flags wavering half mass
Tears fell from the eyes!!!
Of hurt souls!!!!
American pride dealt a death blow
Bin Laden grinning from the pocket of Bush
The devil’s deal full filled
Soul given up
Hell’s one hundred percent insurance
Six years passed like six minutes
Tears still fall, hearts still ache, souls still weep for the lost lives
The flags still wave, pride still hurt, America will never be the same
We still hold the memories of 9/11
