Death and Destruction - A Necromancer's Tale
It seems to me that Necromancers are far too under appreciated, and no one seems to take them for what they are, how they do their work, and so on. For these reasons, I have decided that my first major biographical undertaking of the Onyx Sisters will be my beloved Necromancer, Ksaiya. This shall be her tale of lies, utter anarchy, exile, heartbreak, and the like. I leave you with a list of chapters fabricated to fit the life of a Necromancer, but no biographical material, not yet.
Exile
This is Just My Living Hell
Maguuma
Death - My Only Friend
Temptress of the Dawn
Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder
Alone Again, and It's My Fault
No One Ever Loved Me
Love Me for Me, Not My Profession
Never Again
Sacificing Blood
My Guardian Angels, My Sisters
Lost in Maguuma
Torn by Death
Sea of Sand
Ascension
Another Sister
Mursaat
Thunderhead Keep
The Ring of Fire
Hell’s Precipice
Death is Mine, You Have No Right
To Cantha, and New Destinies
Afflicted
Two More Arrivals, Canthan Natives
The Kurzick House
The Echovald Forest
Viktor
Luxons
The Jade Sea
Archimorus
Saving the Empire
Death is Awaiting You, Shiro Tagachi
Divine Path
Onyx Sisters, Forever and Always

Fire burned through the jungle that surrounded one of the only villages in it's depths, one that was blessed by the Druids of this great wonder. It scarred and tore at the flesh of my homeland, making it and its inhabitants scream and submiss in pain and fear. It ripped the beauty and wonder from the face of the Maguuma, unmercifully destroying in seconds what had taken thousands of years to create.
The brilliance of the flames reflected light into my dark, tearstained eyes as I stood, overlooking the valley my village had laid in before it's destruction by the flames, accompanied by my own. I did not know of my power then, I was not aware of how much it could destroy. I watched helplessly as the fire consumed huts and killed my friends and family. The Elders had warned us all that if any one person were to commit any act against our law, that they would be Exiled: sent away into the unknown depths of the jungle around us, and left to die.
I would be Exiled, this I knew, but it did not occur to me that the law cared not of your age. I was merely fourteen, not strong enough to defend myself alone in the jungle. It was here that I knew that it didn't matter anyway. My village had been a victim of genocide, although it was not intentional on my part. All the enforcers of the ancient law were dead, and it was my hand that had choked the life from them, squeezing their throats until they breathed no more.
My power was strong, and it was foreign to my region of the world. Most were Rangers, Warriors, and Mesmers, and these professions were understood by the ancient Druids of the Maguuma, and by my people. Necromancy was a foreign art, and it was feared, misunderstood, and rejected. None in my village, including myself, were aware that I was destined for this path, destined for a life of solitude and rejection.
Before Necromancy, my life was uneventful, and full of boredom and my wandering imagination. Now, I can finally realize all my greatest fantasies, and surpass them by many levels. I have come to understand my position as a Bearer of Death, a worldly embodiment of Grenth. I know of all the secrets kept from my people, kept far from those unworthy of the title of Necromancer. My profession is looked upon as scum, my abilities and power to defy Death himself rejected and feared, and I love every second of it.

Still the same Storm I remember from last year. I see you're still into Necromancy. Nice story so far. Keep at it. This is the only thing in this forum that I read now.

Thank you, Plat. I enjoy positive feedback!
Currently working on a picture for the first chapter, it's got the Exile title written out in bones and will have my Necromancer in there somehwere, not sure where yet though...
Also, please forgive any errors made in tense or subjects, this is one of the only times I've written in first person point of view, and it's still very new and confusing. I'll grow into it eventually though, no worries!

If you keep up what you're doing so far, you should be okay in the grammatical area. All you should really worry about is the story. If the story's good enough, it can cover up those mistakes you make.

Nice pic. Try getting the effect of the word being part of the scene itself, not just being pasted on. You can do this by first defining the lines and making the words look a little more 3-D. Then all you have to do next is get rid of the white lines around them! Nice job on the pic anyways.

I made a new image, since the old one was bugging me...
I feel it gives a more Necrotic look to her, and goes a bit better with the setting, since there's supposed to be fire and all that, but, meh. It's not much, but it's better.

I will, I will.
I tried last night, but I got caught up on a conversation with my grandmother, aunt, and cousin about all sorts of stuff. I didn't even get home until after midnight!
Anyway, expect more from me sometime today or tomorrow! Cheers!
