Looks like the idea for the afflicted was thought of early and postponed for Chapter 2...
They cut that chest in half? Don't need no damn keys!
... Wow, what a piece of crap.

Its god-awful. Sega-Saturn type graphics, slow gameplay and fugly monsters. I'd never buy it like that.

Anyone having a link that is not hosted on Lagfile? Can't view it without having to wait a full damn hour for it to even finish the buffering .

That was awesome. I wish I could have been testing it when they started the trasition from that to what we have now. Some of the monsters looked pretty cool. There was absolutly no casters though, guess they hadn't added spell effects yet.

I've been playing since the third last beta, and I never saw guild wars graphics like that. Thank God they took the time to make them better, else I may not have bought the game when it came out.

Not to mention the warrior at 1:28 with the sword I've been wanting since I saw it on the weapons rack in the Ascalon armory.

Hehe, I saw an FDS, a tribal axe, the crenellated sword mentioned, a summit hammer...
and trolls (green thing? ) could KD! whoa! Maybe anet should bring that back so they're not farmed so easily.

Armor looks nice tho on some warrs and rangers. Also the moves made with swords and axes impress me. And the sheer size of the monsters is just nice ^^

yeah the graphics were pretty bad and toonish, but still you can see the spirit in which the game was conceived was there from the very start. It's a great concept which technology (or simply graphic artists?) had to catch up with.
