Plat sat outside as usual, staring at the stars. He had heard Mali's name screamed from somewhere in the hall, probably from Hyper, as he was the one who had largely untapped powers of foresight. Plat also knew of Kravyn's actions and his general thinking as he traversed the hall. But it didn't matter, for Plat was doing something else that night...

Plat finished swimming to his old guild hall. It had not been entered at all in the past two years, and this had caused it to deteriorate. Plat walked inside and began traversing the hall. Memories slowly came back to him from what he had done inside this hall, and what he did with his old guildmates...But they had all gone away, to a land often aspired by the living: The Hall Of Heroes.

As Plat walked back into the main hall after walking through all of the other rooms, he heard a voice from the altar in the back. "The Fallen Angel...In a land of torment. She will need your help soon...But not now, for your life must first experience something else."

Plat: "Prophet..."

Prophet: "It's good that you remember me after all these years. I must be going now, I have others to prophecise to."

Plat: "Then hurry up and get out, I'm closing the door after me, regardless of what's inside."

Prophet: "Heh, alright."

Plat and the Prophet walked out together, and as the Prophet disappeared into the mist of the dawn, Plat locked the door to his old guild hall forever...

"No..."

The voice came from Hyper's far right. Kravyn had moved, swiftly and silently as he heard the bumbling blind fool lumber toward him.

"....you can do that without my help."

Leaping from the shadows and landing directly in front of Hyper Kravyn waved his hands in front of his face. Shaking his head, his ash grey hair fluttering about, Kravyn sighed uneasily.

"What do you want?"

Crossing his arms Kravyn turned his back to Hyper, kicking at the ground and narrowing his eyes. Kravyn wondered what this conversation would lead to. A fight perhaps? A few moments of entertainment? Whatever the case, Kravyn would accept it.

Knowing how cocky Kravyn was, he thought he was going to get in a fight, or stabbed, especially during these hours and in a dark area. So, Hyper decided to not be aggresive.

"Well, actually, I was just wondering why you've been all mopey this past week, and why you still have been persistent on being an outsider. I mean, we've all been through enough that you should open up to us. And in the future, you acting this way could get our group into some serious trouble.I'm just saying this because everyone feels this way. We want you to feel like your a part of our group... a friend"

Hyper was silent for a moment, wondering if Kravyn was even listening. But he didn't care, he was going to tell Kravyn the facts, and he was going to listen.

"And I hate being enemies. I don't want to fight you or poke fun at you. I think we are bigger than that. Lets go get some dinner, I was asleep so I didnt get any. Maybe Alicia can heat it up for us if its cold."

Then Hyper fell to his knees. Thoughts were racing through his head. He felt something surging through him. Pain, Strength, Love, Sorrow. He was having a vision. But this one was different from all of the others, he was awake, and inside, it was killing him. He had never experienced this much suffering, besides his self mutilation. Light shown from his eyes and mouth. He was raised from the ground as light was shining through him. Floating up in the air, he forsaw into the future."

Mali collapsing to the ground. His own soul being overcome by darkness. Destruction everywhere. Desperatly being eaten from the inside. Begging to be saved.

Hyper felt so much anguish as the vision continued.

Alicia mourning, Plat fighting a powerful foe, Vantie consoling Alicia. Kravyn and the others shocked, and defending themselves from the ongoing chaos.

Everything went black.

Turning to face Hyper, Kravyn glared at the Necromancer. Pushing back his anger he straightned himself and regained his composure. Shaking his head Kravyn smirked and chuckled a bit. Brushing a few strands of hair from his face he looked off to the side.

"I prefer my own company. I don't need friends."

Kravyn was listening, he just didn't care. Kravyn chose to be alone, that's how he survived. Even when he was within the ranks of the Am Fah, a lowly bandit, he kept away from the others. He left them to their shady dealings and made it on his own. Robbing people for his own profit, surviving on his own. That's how he remembered the world, from the beginning. Bein an orphand that's all he knew, lonliness.

"We're not enemies. If we were, you'd be dead. Being a blind Necromancer, I've had many opritunities snuff out your life. We're not enemies. We're not friends. We're merely two people, tied to eachother through some form divine intervention. Soon as this is over, I'll be nothing more than a whisper in the wind."

Kravyn had said all there was to say, it was back to the shadows for him. Back to his secluded corner, hiding it all away and using it to fuel his abilities. But, this was interupted. A light, peircing the shadows, making them almost nonexistant. Turning quickly Kravyn drew his daggers and entered a low stance. He was forced to quickly avert his eyes as the light blinded him for a few moments.

"Cursed Necroman-"

Watching Hyper fall to the ground Kravyn tilted his head and sheathed his blades. Letting out a quick sigh he shook his head.

"I almost killed you..."

Stepping over to Hyper's, unconcious body Kravyn knelt and tapped him a few times. Sighing and lifting him from the ground Kravyn tossed one of Hyper's arms over his shoulder and dragged him toward the living quarters within the hall.

"I swear, if they think I did this, there'll be hell to pay..."

Kravyn went on muttering unhappily to himself. He was better than dragging a half naked Necromancer through the halls of some guild he had never heard of. Much better. Sighing he called out, for anyone near.

"It appears we have a problem!"

Plat felt something...A slight change in the wind. He temporarily halted his swim back to the Onyx Guild Hall and sniffed the air. He smelled a faint magical scent go towards the guild hall. "Hyper...," Plat whispered.

Plat had very well attuned senses. He was always one with his environment. He could even see what was going on in people's minds. Of course, if it was some sort of telepathic conversation he could not speak with the people in question, but otherwise everything was available for him to observe. Even visions. Plat knew that even though he himself didn't have foresight, he could smell a vision and create it in his mind. What he saw shocked him. Shocked him enough that he stopped treading water. So he sunk a long time before it came to his mind that he was a hundred feet underwater and out of breath. He quickly swam up and, after taking in many huge breaths, yelled out, "****! This is so ****ing unbelievable! ****it!"

After he swam to the Onyx guild hall, he immediately opened the door (he was trusted with a key by Alicia) and ran in. He heard Kravyn's voice echoing through the hall. Plat teleported to where he was and saw Kravyn carrying an unconscious Hyper. "The vision..."

Plat and the rest of the people sat around Hyper's bed. They all knew of his vision according to what Plat had said. Mali seemed a bit crestfallen. Everyone was asleep except for Plat and Mali.

Mali: "What do you think of Hyper's vision?"

Plat: "We won't know until it happens. Don't worry about it for now. I'd expect it to happen a bit later than other things I have seen prophecized."

Mali: "Do you think I'll die?"

Plat: "Don't worry about that. If anything happens to you, you know that your parents and I will be there for you."

OOC: This is a really important post in terms of Hyper's advancement and the groups knowledge of his sister.. So sorry as a heads up.. im moving time ahead a week.

IC:
Hyper spent a week in a coma. Everyone in the guild hall worried if he would wake up.. let alone the horrors of the vision they all now knew.

Away from the physical world, and all links to it. Hyper was caught in a dream, a dream that felt like forever. Where time and space stood still. No one could stop this moment, his moment. He had been reunited with his sister, Sarah. After years of searching, she was there with him, sharing stories, past experiences, making the bond between the two even stronger. Hyper knew no sad emotions, only love and a joyful respect of Sarah.

She was 3 years younger than Hyper, now 22. After the Searing, Sarah was taking into a family of wealthy patrons from Cantha. There she grew up on Shing Jeah Monastery, learning the ways of the monk and all absolutes of her skill. She too is looking for her long lost brother, sensing something was wrong, she traveled all across lands unknown and even back to Tyria. She is still looking is very concerned with his health and condition. She sensed, he was hurt.

But in Hyper's world, they had already found each other. Enjoying every moment together, planning their future adventures. Nothing in the world could stop the bond between these two.

But alas, this was not the world, only a dream, a swift memory taken coldy away as Hyper awoke in delusion.

Everyone had been sitting around Hyper's bed, Alicia sitting nearest. She too wondered, if this was the end of the road for the lonely Necromancer, and wondered if this divine intervention, was meant to take his life.

Hyper sat up and to everyone's disbelief began talking delusionaly about his sister.

"Sarah! I knew I would find you, thank Dwayna you're alive" Hyper gave Alicia a huge hug, thinking that this was Sarah.

Alicia, in complete awe of what was going on, could do nothing than hug Hyper back, hoping to make his landing into reality much more soft. Knowing that if Sarah wasn't there, Hyper would be devastated.

Hyper, using up his energy quickly, still weak from the coma, collapsed back onto the bed. Everyone with their mouths wide open, wondering what the heck just happened.

Hyper mumbled a few words of his sister and quickly dozed off.

Plat: "Gimme a minute, tracking down his magical energies takes a minute or two, not ten seconds."

Plat immediately went into a sort of meditative state and began relating what was happening in Hyper's mind as he saw it. Plat first told them of Hyper's first dream, then continued on to watch his second. Luckily, Hyper was only asleep this time and not in a coma...

Yeah, just wanted to make a post so that everyone's pretty much on the same page as Hyper.

By the way, I'm gonna lay off the posting a bit. I just saw that my post count's getting a bit high and I want to tone it down. I also want to see some big posts here. So, I'll probably just spectate for the time being. Expect me not to post storyline until we get through a few chapters. I'll just throw in story ideas that might help, like new content that you guys could use. (kinda like the accessories and the darkness levels I brought out) I'll be off for a while then!

P.S. Storm, if you could get Vantie to post in this thread and also help even out the masculinity of the roleplay by getting a female player or two, the thread might get a bit bigger.

P.P.S. Just decided to put in some storyline as to when Plat leaves. I'll have Plat return in Chapter Four or something. So, here's the last roleplay post for a while!

Everyone was crowded at the door of the Onyx Guild Hall except for Hyper, who was still asleep. A note was pinned to the door. It read:

My dear friends, I have a feeling that I must leave. I won't be back for a long time. I have some things to do, and it's been a while since I last visited Ascalon and saw Riona. All of your powers are very strong and when combined they can fell even the greatest of foes. My help is not needed now. I have a few things to say to some of you...

To Hyper and Kravyn - Before I wrote this I spoke with a certain Prophet. He has told me of a fate that the two of you will be of great importance in. You may not be friends, but learn to be used to each other. Work together when necessary, your rivalry will only destroy you.

To Malikai - You have a great untapped power inside of you. Don't be afraid to use it if needed. And take care of your parents.

To Alicia and Vanatiel - Take care of Mali. Don't worry about me, I have my own path to walk for a while. Be safe and happy reunion!

Sorry I haven't posted in a couple days, but we had a slight malfuction with our internet connection, and I just now got to a place where it actually works.

Now, since I'm back for a bit, I'm going to address some issues and lay down some new rules, and I'm going stright to the point. As a wise man once said, Dura lex, sed lex - I am the law, and the law is hard.

Ristaron and Leon Ux-Ixen - You have posted to minimally for your characters o be considered vital to the storyline of this thread. Either post more, or your characters are officially null-in-void.

Platinum Agent - Quit your god-modding. You know that I hate people who make thier characters out to be superhuman. Not everyone must come to you for answers, and especially not Alicia, since we all have access to the same abilities. Also, this roleplay does NOT revolve around your character, no matter how much you think it does. Either fix it or your character will be null-in-void as well.

Hyper and Neo - Great job and keep it up guys, just what I expect from good roleplayers!

Now, for the new rules

From now on, there will be ABSOLUTELY NO GOD-MODDING - It will not be tolerated and if anyone is caught doing it, their characters will be rejected and sent out of the storyline.

Also, I will be moderating the dispursal of all new accessories - This is to prevent god-modding attempts by over-customizing anything so that it is overpowered to any one character. I am also removing the 'Heart" accessory from circulation, as it really is doing no good. Only Necromancers have protection from Dark Energy, as well as Monks, with their Protection Prayers.

Now, hopefully the truth has brought you all to your senses, and we can actually get some progress into this thing.

Yeah, I figured that I was getting too overpowered in the story, so I'm leaving for now. I kinda wanna learn how to draw manga and make a mini-movie of what happens to Plat in his abscence. I'll probably make it like the Japanese do it with anime: Some guy has too much power and wants more, then suffers from pain and loss, etc., has a change of heart, sacrifices life to others, yeah. I'm probably never gonna get to learning how to draw though. Anyways, I may very well just make a new guy. I actually kinda wanna have Plat gone the rest of the roleplay and have the adventures of his brother, Gold Agent. (you would understand where I come up with these character names if you read "The Guy Above Me" thread in the off-topic forum) I don't know yet. Anyways, I'll let you guys handle the thread for a bit. I'll post from time to time. I'll end this with a "Sorry" and a "Please forgive me" and "Sayonara".

This roleplay is turning into an online DnD-type adaptation, which is so completely inferior to a creative writing style. By using these hard-defined 'levels' and 'accessories', you're pretty much reverting to an earlier stage of writing.
I suppose to each his own, so go ahead and continue... but consider me no longer involved.

Also, what's wrong with an earlier stage of writing? Or DnD for that matter? Everything can turn into a good story if you try hard enough, so why don't you just shut up and give it a chance, eh? You never know how anything is going to turn out until it does.

And another thing, I don't have control over your character. All aspects of your character, if given by another, are disputable. Apparently, no one has managed to figure that out.

I have a question really.... why do we have accessories when really they are just stating the obvious of what we already know about the characters... JMHO

I was involved, then characters started getting controlled and these pointless new things were added and I lost interest. I came on to say I was removing myself from the roleplay after I had been out of town for 10 days and then I saw that people were now trying to control MY character.
Well RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO that, I said.

As for 'it must be my way and no way else', perhaps you should revisit my post and process that I didn't say you guys were doing anything wrong. I simply stated my distaste for the direction the roleplay was going and excused myself before I became further involved and removing my well-thought-out character would be a problem.

On the topic of characters, Storm, all of yours have been to my disliking, but have I spoken ill of them in public/held it against you? No. Your own megalomaniac attitude speaks ill enough that I don't need to say anything. You pretend to play by the rules, but they're rules that you dictate and change at your whim. You're a terrible team player and your characters reflect this.
And that's not just my opinion, but that of others as well.

So why don't you take those fries and stick 'em; and remember that you're not the all-amazing fantastic roleplayer you esteem yourself to be.

Well, here brings up an interesting point: you never stated that you would be out-of-town and unable to post, and so we took the liberty of joining your character with others in the storyline. No harm was done, and no action was taken to control your character at all, except from Plat and his "Kill the Reaver" sequence.

On the point of additude, I was probably a little over the top, since it was late and I hadn't slept in over eighteen hours. Also, you could have been a bit more understanding, since, as was stated above, you never told anyone that you were not going to be able to post.

As for taste in characters, that is simply personal opinion, and there is no need to get all uptight about it. I have had my characters and my work scrutinized time and time again about how they're too much the same or ill-thought-out, but I've learned to take the blows and shrug them off, and I suggest you do the same.

Ristaron, had you read the whole roleplay closely, you would have found that it was I who introduced accessories and pretty much RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOed up the whole story. You shouldn't be attacking Storm when she didn't do anything, it's me you should attack. And I'll take it all. My life's been full of ridicule, I can handle more, can't I?

And just to make this post somehow positive...

I haven't seen that avatar of yours in a while, Storm. I kinda liked your very first avatar more though.

Plat, the reason I didn't direct some of the anger from my character being controlled on you is because I started reading the third page first (for whatever reason) and saw Storm's post involving my character in a way I didn't approve or allude to. While I'm not happy that you did, the fact you can come forward and apologize and admit that you didn't play by the rules raises my respect for you.

As for you, Storm, you claim that I should be more understanding, well now we've both admitted things neither knew before (my having been out of town, your having been short of sleep and snappy). I can forgive the outburst, but unless you stop acting like you're so superior to the other roleplayers (myself included), I can't forget your poor attitude. And I won't continue to forgive if you make no effort to be more tollerant and flexible.

On the topic of critisism, I constantly ask others for feedback and to point out things they didn't like about my work. My return of how I dislike your characters was mainly to show that personal opinion was a large part of your unjustified argument against mine. The remark seemed (and still does seem) to serve no other purpose aside from insulting me as the creator of my character.
So you'll understand why I don't take it in good stride, as the remark was not intended for that purpose.

I don't think that I'm one to try and help solve this current argument between Storm and Ristaron, but I think I've been poked fun at long enough to understand the best means to do this.

Ristaron, I appreciate the respect, but I deserve none. I would rather have you and Storm read this post and try to find a means of agreement between you two.

Ristaron: You have good motive as to your posts, but your delivery can be improved. It would be much better for things to be said calmly.

Storm: Your self-defense is also reasonable, but once again this can be done peacefully and respectfully.

If both parties will continue to bicker as such, I ask to do so in a controlled manner. If you two can apologize for the outbreaks and such from the argument and converse (I wonder if that's the verb tense of 'conversation'...) about the matter at hand while refraining from agressive behavior, this problem can be solved easily and most likely to the advantage of both of you.

Of course there's the alternate way: Blame everything on me. My posts pretty much destroyed this thing. I kinda had a plan to make Plat overpowered so he can temporarily leave the roleplay and come back as the character I want him to be, but I went overboard with the overpowering. The result: A messed-up roleplay and two people fighting. If you're going to do this the aggressive way, then I insist that I take the punishment. I've been put down my whole life, I can live with it.
