The Assassins Legacy
Chapter 1
The assassin gripped his his daggers tightly as he waited in the shadows for his target to venture out. This was how he made his living by contract killing. On his last job he had nearly been killed if it wasnt for his quick thinking and cunning. He had been hired to assassinate a wealthy Krytan Ambassador known as Zain. When he reached Zain's location he found that his attempt to kill him was no longer a secret so he decided to wait it out. He waited for days on end until finally Zains escort was no more than 3 men. Zain was dead before hit the ground, the assassin had shadow stepped to his location and killed him in a flurry of frenzied attacks, but as he watched his target go down one of the men slashed him with his sword. As he moved to try and stop the bleeding in his shoulder he felt an icy numbness rise through his body, he looked down at his feet and found they were encased in ice,he was at the warriors mercy. He took blow after blow continually healing himself until the hex wore off and he could move again. As the warrior swung his sword for the final blow the assassin dashed away into the night leaving the warrior swinging his sword through the empty air where the assassin had been just seconds ago

Chapter 2
After the assassin had snapped out of his flashback he focused his mind back onto the job at hand taking out the The Emperors Hand. Finally after the hours of waiting his target emerged from Raisu Pavillion. As though he had seen the assassin The Emperors Hand whipped round before the assassins daggers could find their mark in his back. The Emperors Hand brought his sword up quickly to parry the assassins daggers and the sound of steel clashing rang out which brought the attention of many of the palace guards.
"You can choose to live and tell us who hired you and who you are or you can die which will it be?" The Emperors Hand whispered softly.
"Alright just put down your swords" said the assassin
"Lower your swords men" said The Emperors Hand "Now, who hired you and what is your name?"
"I was hired by the Am Fah and I am a descendant of Shiro Tagachi and hate of the emperor runs strong through my family" replied the assassin
"Why do you choose to follow in the footsteps of your ancestor" asked The Emperors Hand with a false interest
"Because I have been taught the ways of the assassin and the trickery" said the assassin this voice thick with threat and with this he plunged his daggers into the chest of The Emperors Hand and dashed away.

Very interesting! Keep it up. Make it longer. I fear as if though you have ended some part of your story. It should be continuous.
I really do hope you write more.

Chapter 3
As the assassin polished and sharpened his daggers he thought about what
The Emperors Hand had said "why do you follow in the footsteps of your ancestor"
As the assassin was thinking about this a piece of parchment flew towards him,the assassin grabbed out of the air and unrolled it. It had his picture on it and it said WANTED below the picture, what now the assassin thought.
A sudden yell brought him back to his senses. "There he is!" yelled the Peasent. As the assassin started to run he swore softly under his breath, then as he dashed away the yells became more distant.
He thought i cant stay in Cantha much longer ill be arrested. Then it hit him ill go back to Tyria where I am unknown to the people there he thought. So the assassin dashed back to Kaening Center and stowed away in the cargo hold of the ship seaswift.

Chapter 4
With a jolt the ship suddenly stopped the assassin climbed out of the cargo hold and took a breath of fresh air. But the captain saw him on the deck and said "How did you get here I didnt see you aboard" those were the last words he ever spoke as the assassin hurled one of his daggers at him the dagger hit home and embedded in the captains windpipe. The assassin walked over to the corpse and examining it. Satisfied he was dead the assassin pulled his dagger from the mans windpipe with a sickening squelch. As he turned to walk away the corpse started to twitch, backing away slowly the assassin readied his daggers for whatever came next. The next thing he knew he was lying face down on the deck and when he turned over he was staring up at the mighty form of a Flesh Golem. He scrambled to his feet and readied himself to attack when suddenly the flesh golem bounded away to its unknown master. So catiously with his daggers still ready he followed making as little noise as possible. Then the flesh golem stopped behind a shadowy figure, the assassin guessed about 5'10 female definitely a primary necromancer. Focusing on the shadowy figure he shadow stepped there and had her in a hostage position before she could move.
"Who are you and what are you doing here" the assassin whispered menacingly in her ear.
"Its none of your business assassin"she snapped back
Before the assassin could make a move the flesh golem had knocked him to the ground. He lay there writhing in pain, the women was obviously enjoying seeing him in pain. But she was bored so she drew upon a deathly swarm and placed it over his head. The assassin was dead before he knew it. Days past his corpse just laying there and until a monk known as Brother Mhenlo found his body and tryed to ressurect him, he suceeded and the assassin lived to kill again but his encouter with that female necro had taught something, never rush into a fight unless you know your going to win.
With this thought still pulsing through his head he thanked Brother Mhenlo and ran. After the thought subsided a new one emerged become a sencondary necromancer and seek revenge on the woman who killed you.

Chapter 5
2 years later
"No no no" said Necro Lord Nottsy as for the 5th time his new apprentice tried to raise a Flesh Golem instead of a Bone Horror.
"What is it it master" said the assassin with an innocence
"You have to walk before you can run" replied Necro Lord Nottsy
"Meaning?" asked the assassin quizically
"Stop trying to raise Flesh Golems your just not ready for that kind of power" answered Necro Lord Nottsy in a slightly annoyed tone
The assassin grew tired of his masters criticism he never recieved praise although his master was doing his best to help him. Everyday he would go out into Sunqua Vale and kill Mantids so he could continue trying to animate a Flesh golem and each time he failed. His master had shown him the ways of the Necromancer for two years and had still not managed to master animating a flesh golem. But his master had said it took me 6 years to master animate flesh golem but now i can do it without a second thought. The assassin still sought revenge on the female Necromancer after she had killed him two years ago. He had learned alot of skills since then and his murderers name she was known throughout Tyria as Kasha Blackblood, since his death he had been training with various Necromancers but so far Necro Lord Nottsy had taught him the most as he was a Minion Master and very adept at Death Magic he says he is not interested in Blood Magic, although once or twice the assassin had caught him slaying Mantids and using their corpses as Wells of Blood but he had insisted the were Wells of the Profane. So he decided to leave it at. His master had said that there was a greater Minion Master than him. Her name was Faith Rivin and she was god spoken she had animated a Flesh Golem within days of Necromancy, the assassin wanted to seek out this Faith Rivin and train with her learning the way of the Minion Master because when he had mastered animate Flesh Golem he would seek revenge on Kasha Blackblood because she had killed him and so with each passing day the assassin learned more and more about death magic and he started picking up little bits of information about Faiths current location. So far the assassin had mastered Vampiric Horrors, Bone Horrors, Bone Minions and Bone Fiends but not Flesh Golem.

Chapter 6
The assassin had once again failed with his attempts at a flesh golem. He decided it was time to leave, he had learned that Faith Rivin would be found at Piken Square. He said farewell to Necro Lord Nottsy and boarded the next boat to Tyria from Lions Arch he ran for 3 days to reach Piken Square and with each enemy he killed he attempted a Flesh Golem but failed each time. When he reached Piken Square he couldn't wait to learn from someone greater than Necro Lord Nottsy . When he found Faith he begged her to teach him how to animate a Flesh Golem until she finally relented and within 2 weeks he had managed to not only animate one but also control and mantain it. Faith also added she was impressed and suggested that he told his old master that she sends her regards. So the assassin did just that he travelled back to Kaeing Center and told his old master everything and then he proved he could animate a Flesh Golem but he that time he could not control its power the Flesh Golem attacked his former master with a vicious rage that no normal human could withstand but Necro Lord Nottsy had his army of Minions,Horrors and Golems countered the assassins Golem then one by one Necro Lord Nottsy's minions fell as he used Taste of Death on them. The assassin then apologized and Necro Lord Nottsy accepted it. But as the assassin began to leave Necro Lord Nottsy called after him "Come back I will teach you to control your minions with one thought"
Upon hearing this the assassin turned and returned to training with his former master. After 1 week of training the assassin was finally ready to take on Kasha Blackblood. He could now control and mantain 10 minions successfully and then he set off to seek out Kasha Blackblood and take his revenge.

Chapter 7
With the thought of revenge on his mind the assassin boarded a ship back to Lions Arch. For the next week the assassin trekked all over Tyria looking for Kasha Blackblood he went to Droknars Forge,Ascalon,Gates Of Kryta until he stumbled upon Ashford Abbey where he found out that Kasha was in the Catacombs, but first he needed to rest so he spent the night there sleeping dreaming of his revenge. In the morning he picked up his daggers and he prepared to take his revenge on Kasha. He found her wandering the Catacombs with a Flesh Golem by her side. He wouldnt be able to take them both at the same time so he found a devourer and killed then animated his Flesh Golem and he turned and faced Kasha.
"Who're you and what do you want" asked Kasha
"So you dont remember me?" replied the assassin mockingly
"No,why should I?" asked Kasha cautiously
"Two years ago at Lions Arch you killed me"accused the assassin angrily
"Oh my god!" screamed Kasha
"Now im back for my revenge" said the assassin menacingly
After the last word was spoken he commanded his Flesh Golem to attack hers, with that thought the fighting erupted, Kasha didnt try to maintain her golem and she concentrated on the assassin. But he was to quick for her and dodged each attack she threw at him. A loud roar let them know that a Flesh Golem had died and it was Kasha's. She was now at the mercy of the assassin and his Flesh Golem. She got on her knees and begged for mercy but the assassin said "I came for revenge and I will leave having taken it"and with that he struck her down with a mighty blow and his desire for revenge was finally satisfied after two years of training as a secondary necro.

Chapter 8
When he was satisfied Kasha was dead the assassin walked calmly out of the Catacombs. He wondered what he should do next he could return to Cantha and start taking on assassin apprentices or he could follow in the footsteps of his ancestor Shiro Tagachi. He decided on the latter option and went to learn the technique now known as the Jade Wind or Shiros Death Wail. He searched all of Cantha and Tyria until he had learnt and perfected this technique. When it was ready he decided on spending his hard earned gold on a new set of armour. When his armour was fitted he joined the ranks of the emperor and soon rose to the role of the Emperors personal bodyguard. It was soon to be the day when Emperor Kisu went to the temple where his ancestor was killed by Shiro Tagachi in a show that he was not afraid of fate. When that day came history would repeat itself as it has done since the creation of the world. The assassin woke early that morning to prepare for his mission avenge his ancestor Shiro Tagachi and if possible make himself Emperor in Kisu's place. He and the rest of the palace guards escorted the Emperor to the temple while the palace guards knelt with him the assassin hung back. As the Emperor began to kneel the assassin readied on of his daggers and as soon as the Emperors knee touched the ground he threw his dagger. As he had hoped the dagger lodged in Kisu's back the next few seconds were happy ones as he watched the former Emperor go to the ground dead. His half brother Master Togo was there in an instant, then the assassin turned to flee the scene but he found himself surrounded by palace guards with their swords pointed at his chest, poised to strike at any moment.
He felt a sword punch through his armoured back and out of the front. As the assassin breathed his last breaths he screamed at the top of his voice "Know that Shiro Tagachi's descendant Shiro Tagachi III finished what he started." With these words he used the spell that caused all that pain and suffering so many years ago. Many knew that day as the End of Days because that spell had caused the Sea of Sorrows to be frozen in jade.So the assassins last words were true he had indeed finished what his ancestor had started.

No, Necro Lord Nottsy, I don't have a problem with you using Faith in this story the way you have. It'd be kind of hypocritical of me if I used all those great characters Anets prophecies team gave us in my work and then said "hands off" when someone wanted to play with one of mine.
I do however suggest that you ask first next time before you use another author's work in yours. PM the writer you want to emulate and request the use of their characters. Not only is it easy to do on GWGuru, it's polite.
About this piece: it would help if we "saw" these characters doing a lot of the background story. EX: you tell us "He decided on the latter option and went to learn the technique now known as the Jade Wind or Shiros Death Wail. He searched all of Cantha and Tyria until he had learnt and perfected this technique." I know how much of a hurry you can be in to get to the "good" part, but its the little details that help readers see. Tell us about his struggles; go into more detail. "Show" whenever you can; don't just tell. Do that, and you'll find a wealth of information even you didn't know about your characters. Show us, and they come alive.
This is a good first piece and I hope you continue.

I love the irony you are conveying. Killed by a necromancer, but then training to become one himself afterwards. I can see where you're going with that, and I like it.
Now for some constructive criticism ^_^ Please don't take this too hard. Chapter 4 seems a tad rushed. Of course, in the sense of Mhenlo coming in out of nowhere with the resurrection and the conversation that followed. Also, nothing really led into the killing of the assassin. Maybe if the necro held the WANTED poster in one hand and then took a glance at the assassin before deciding his faith.
Keep up the good work, friend.
