Here's three I made up on the spot. I have hundreds of poems stored up, if anyone would support a thread for forms other than haiku.
Angels fall through shade
Faces brand my weary eyes
Stumbling through the mists
=====================
Pleasant illusions
Sunbeams caress the meadow
Down the rabbit hole
=====================
Read between the lines
And so the pendulum swings
Tick, tock, ricochet
The first relates a warrior/poet's first journey through the Underworld.
The second tells of Old Ascalon through the eyes of a survivor of the Searing.
The third is my attempt to write as Glint.
As a point of reference, seppaku may also be spelled "seppuku," and there are both honorable and dishonorable forms of this ritual suicide. The dishonorable form was used as a form of capital punishment for disgraced samurai, including ronin who overstepped their bounds. Just a toss-up for those interested.
